Gaspachos Mexican Bites — Restaurant in Houston

Really nice vibe it’s at the park on east side by Lamar hs our plan was to pretty much try A lot of food items however we did make it kind of late maybe like 840/845 and they close at 10. So they ran out of chicken which unfortunately is the only protein I eat. I ordered the street tacos they are four small but good tacos my kid had the quesa birria she LOVED IT! She ordered two of those and drank the soup from the cup lol. Really loved it she said it was the best one she has had….my baby did a happy food dance and I have never seen that (even with my own cooking lol) we also ordered the torta for my spouse she liked it the fries were really good and crispy we devoured those the elote was a bit too cheesy and waayyyy too much water and the ceviche wasn’t to my liking. The shrimp was not a good combination but the actual avocado sauce it was in was okay.

The mango fruit drink is good until it melts and it becomes a cup of okra slime

This was my second time getting a michelada from Gaspacho’s, and again, it did not disappoint. The first time was through Uber Eats & I was so blown away by the quality of it that I told myself I had to go in person to check out the vibes of the place next time. Well, they passed all the vibe checks… Located inside of Levy Park, a charming neighborhood park rich in culture and fun activities for pups and kids alike, Gaspachos boasts a colorful decor, happy/friendly staff, and fun Latin music of all sorts. They were playing Tejano when I was there and I couldn’t help but to dance in place while waiting for my order: a LOADED mangonada for me & pup cups for my three bully girls. As you can see in the photos, they don’t skimp on the fresh fruit (and believe me, it is FRESH), nor the chamoya, tajin, sour candies, whatever floats your beer boat! And as for the pup cups, well, they were gone so fast I didn’t even get a chance to get a photo. 10/10 recommend this local business for anyone looking cold beer, fresh fruit, and/or aguas frescas! I’ll be back here every time I’m back in...

Looks and videos can definitely be deceiving! 12 tacos for 38.94??? What??! we order the food and in my mind I said they better be good!! 1.size …tacos a way way to small with half of spoon of meat , 4 tacos are really a kids meal. Taste… no flavor whatsoever the hot sauce or I should say sauce no flavor at all. Presentation…. For 38.94 one taco had double tortilla the rest a single one , 2 limes for 12 tacos and literally 3 paper towels. I had pastor tacos and they were super greasy.

Before I went there I stop at slowpokes for a coffee and two empanadas coffee was 6 dollars with an extra shot and the empanadas were super fresh one beef one chicken each one 3 dollars …the place is so cozy and clean. With the money I spend at Gaspachos I could off left full and with out spending that much money. Trust me don’t ruin your day by buying things there save your money!!

I wish I can post the pictures in this post I will see if I can post them in a bit super super tiny tacos!!! I understand they supposed to be “small street tacos” but man this are MINI MINI...
