Midtown Terrace Suites — Local services in Houston

Midtown Terrace use to be a great place when it was Veterans only. Then upper management made a decision at accept Harvey storm refugees. These people are the dregs of society. Now the facility is riddled with drug users, drug dealers, and trash everywhere. And have heard the it is longer supported by the Veterans Administration as permanent housing. Also it is rumored there is pressure from redevelopers so the ownership may be ready to cash out. Also noteworthy is the property is surrounded by homeless drug addicts that the city of Houston seems powerless to do anything about. They walk around like cast rejects from the Waking Dead and often can be observed in a state of seizure right there on the sidewalk. One bright side the most reasonable rent in Midtown, and is right across the street from Wheeler Transit Center though you have to run the zombie Gauntlet to get there. But the using public transportation will save you from being accosted at every intersection by soliciting hobos. I do find the staff friendly and once again the most reasonable...

I've lived at midtown for over 4 yrs mainly because of location to the VA hospital where I work.. Midtown is TRASH and management does not care about veterans, manger has raised rents to 750.00 and in my case 800.00.. midtown is an old Holiday Inn hotel and management is price gouging the veterans and getting funds from the government program Hudvash.. they have zero amenities and poor security.. Property manager and staff have real unprofessional attitudes.. Cloudbreaks owners are Cantwell-Anderson inc and I will try to get the media involved with this because this is no way for veterans to be treated.... I don't recommend any veteran moving here, iam planning to move as soon as my financial...

Too many things go on at this property and none of it's anything good. If you don't mind not being able to sleep because of fire alarms, homeless people, residents trying to enter your apartment while you try to sleep, and drug addicts roaming around the property morning and night this is the place for you. This apartment complex is in need of many repairs that aren't being properly fixed in these apartments. You will also be sharing the property with dozens of stray cats that are everywhere disgusting. The only thing I'm looking forward to is moving the hell out of this place and never...
