It was a remarkable experience. To visit one of the largest and oldest cemeteries in the city was surreal. It was enlightening but also heartbreaking. To see the condition of some of the graves as well as parts of the cemetary suffering from past neglect, vandalism, and erosion hurts. But to know that there are some restorations projects instead as well as cleanups from time to time is welcome news. The pictures and videos I document will hopefully raise awareness of this gem of a place.
