I was in the mood for crawfish and wanted to try a new place. I found this place on Google and decided to give it a shot. I arrived during rush hour, around 5 pm. When I got there, I parked in the back and noticed there was more parking in the front, which is always a plus because I hate going to places with no parking. I walked in and was greeted and asked where I wanted to sit. I sat down and Kenton immediately brought me a menu and asked if it was my first time. I said yes. Then he told me I had a few minutes to look over the menu and pointed out the happy hour specials. The happy hour menu was incredible! Iâve attached pictures below. $5 small bites? Count me in! The place wasnât super busy, but it definitely had a small crowd. I ordered the bang bang shrimp, and let me tell you, it was amazing! Flavorful, crispy, and delicious! I also ordered 1 pound of crawfish, but Kenton convinced me to order two since it comes with corn and potato when you order 2 pounds or more. I wasnât planning to drink, but you canât beat $2 Micheladas! They had a few beer options, but when having Micheladas, my go-to beers are Modelo or Dos xx. The Michelada was good!
Now, let me tell you about the crawfish! I ordered their spicy mix sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. I couldâve easily gone up a spice level, but I know my tummy wouldâve protested later.
The crawfish were well-seasoned and huge! They were like little baby lobsters!
The ambiance was great, even though I came in alone. I was jamming to the music!
Unfortunately, there was a blackout in the area, but that didnât stop them from serving up delicious food.
This place was amazing, and Iâll definitely be back with...

Reason for initial two-star ratings
-1) Small fish fillets. It was embarrassing for a grown man to eat that kid's meal. It feels and tastes like itâs pre-breaded and frozen. I am not saying it is; I am just saying how I feel. -2) I upgraded the rice to the Yummy fried rice with shrimp, sausage, crawfish, crab, etc. I did not receive that fried rice. I received its lesser version without the crab, The Cajun fried rice. When I mentioned it, they said it was in there. I disagree. Let's say it was in there; there wasn't enough to taste or see, which is still problematic.
I'm not sure if I'm coming back, but I wouldn't avoid the place. I just wouldn't...
Read moreService is terrible. We were aggressively asked to order within a few minutes of being seated and before getting a chance to look at the menu. Ordered the OMG fries while looking through the menu. When actually trying to order, was told multiple times by multiple servers they would get to us after doing just one other thing but ended up getting forgotten. Finally got an order in after 30min. The crawfish was good. Unfortunately the kitchen or wait staff didn't get my poboy order correct. When they fixed it, the fried rice was refried and the retoasting of the bread slightly burned it leaving a bitter taste. When I told the waste it didn't taste good, they didn't offer to fix it. Instead I was told I should try something else next time. Plenty of other restaurants with good crawfish and actual service
Update: After being contacted by the GM I returned to dine a second time (anonymously). The service was considerably better as was the food quality. I got crawfish and a fried seafood platter, both of which were good. Based on the second visit I would...
