I made an appointment for my day off as a treat. The day before and day of the appointment, they called and texted - and sent me multiple messages on social media confirming my appointment multiple times and asking for my address. Each time, I confirmed. Forty minutes prior to my appointment, I get a call asking why I wasnt there and if I was on my way. I let her know my appointment wasnāt for another 40 minutes. She then said she was calling because the person doing my appointment was wanting to leave early and to come now. I left at that time so the esthetician could leave early and sat in traffic for a good 20 mins to get there. Upon arriving, the receptionist took my information and insisted on keeping my debit card on file. I donāt keep my card on file for very many places muchless somewhere Iāve never been before, so I declined this. I was told it wasnāt an option. That they keep every customerās cards stored. The owner then popped out to see me and tried to convince me to let them keep my debit card on file ā and wanted to charge me in advance prior to the service even starting. Iāve been at some of the nicer spas in Houston and other major cities and not one has ever charged my card prior to the service even beginning. With this being a new and smaller spa with already questionable practices, I declined both of those. The owner scoffed. I was extremely nervous when Lola suggested we do a peel and the derma-planing together (Iām really sensitive and have had bad experiences in the past) but I rarely get facials sadly so I thought letās see the outcome. Skin feels so tight and just glowing. I came for the buccal massage which is quite interesting and worth it I suggest try it along with a facial the technique she used I have never seen elsewhere. Iāve seen all the reviews about the brow lamination I want to come and try that as well.the only reason I didnāt leave 5 stars was the front desk/ customer service. When it came time to check out she couldnāt really break down the price (which I forecasted wouldnāt be cheap bc I did look at the pricing beforehand) but when I saw my total it didnāt match what my aesthetician told me, she did go back to check and fixed it but the mood was just so dry(not rude) but for being an upscale setting Iām suggesting put some effort and warmth into making one feel welcome. But again the service and products were so good it outweighed that hiccup.

On August 29th, I called to see if I could move the appointment earlier to the 30th. They said yes, and rescheduled me to that date.
When I arrived on the 30th, the pedicure started out fine the technician cleaned my toes very well, and I appreciated the detail. But when it came to the extensions I had booked, I was told they donāt do extensions on toes. Several staff members came over to explain this, which left me feeling embarrassed for simply asking for what I had already scheduled. This was very disappointing because my nail beds are very small, and I always get gel X on my toes to help them look nicer.
For my manicure, I was told that my appointment was too short and that I had not booked extensions. I clearly remember booking them, yet instead of honoring that, they suggested I come back another day to do the extensions and just get the cleaning done today. That was not what I asked for when I scheduled two weeks in advance.
I drove 30 minutes each way on the highway for this appointment and paid $130 for a pedicure that was not what I had originally booked. While the cleaning itself was done well, the final product was disappointing, and I felt like I was not being listened to.
I was very excited to try this salon after seeing it on TikTok, but on my only day off, this was my experience. Unfortunately, I most likely will not...
