Oh my, Where do I start. All I could say is that this is a horror movie Hospital. On April 1 2023, I wasnāt feeling well. But didnāt have fever or anything that would prompt me to visit the ER. So I went to work as normal. However, at the end of my shift, I was in pain. Got home took some Tylenol and went to sleep. Iām not sure what time it was⦠surely we were already next day or close enough. I woke up with unbearable pain and fever. I couldnāt stand and pain was so severe I couldnāt even put my own clothes. I asked my husband to take me to the ER and so he did. Iām not sure how he ran into this place⦠but as soon as I got there, I knew something was wrong. They gave me paperwork to complete⦠too much by the way. I tried to read but again, pain was so bad that I couldnāt make sense of what I was reading. I asked the front desk person to help me because my husband doesnāt speak English and couldnāt help me with paperwork. I must have sat waiting for 1hr and 1/2 Or so. There was no other patients waiting, there was no sense of urgency. Never once did they attempt to ease my pain or make me comfortable. As they call me to the back, my husband is pushing me in a wheelchair. āThe nurseā questions me āwhat, canāt you walk?ā I replied maāam Iām in too much pain. I must have sat another hour in a room. They had me pee in a cup. A doctor comes in and said āyour urine doesnāt look that bad but you do have a UTI, weāll give you a shot of antibiotics and give you a prescription to take homeā at this point I assumed I was going home. So I said can I get some pain medicine. The doctor goes āwhat, now?ā I replied yes, now. I am in too much pain. So he asked āSo, what kind of pain medicine are you asking for?ā He made me feel as if I was a crackhead. I replied I donāt know, anything Tylenol perhaps I am in too much pain. Iām not sure if this is policy but this is my first time I visit a hospital complaining of pain and no test were done much less any effort to help me feel comfortable. I feel I was discriminated. Note: please donāt judge⦠I didnāt go there for free⦠I have...

After my boyfriend tore his Achilles, I frantically searched for an ER on a Sunday morning to take him to. Google maps showed this as open and available. I parked and noticed a man in the parking lot poking at tires on a white truck I did not think anything of it at the time.
I was appalled when I arrived, ran inside to find NO ONE. Not a single soul in sight, no one at the desk! I yelled āHello?!ā a bunch, walked around to see if cameras would pick me up, thinking surely someone would see me and nothing. It was empty, silent, and eerie. Then as I gave up and walked back out the way I came to the parking lot, that man was walking in. I could not tell if he worked there or not (was not wearing any credentials) so I asked āDo you work here?ā He said yes... I said that I am in need of emergency services. He says āOh we are closed, Put Memorial Hermann into your maps and go up the road.ā
This man had to have seen me running inside. This man could have told me āWeāre closedā in the parking lot. I was in a panic and this could have greatly helped me.
Iām sorry- but WHAT THE ?! If this is in fact actually closed, close your freaking doors and put closed on Google maps!!! Absolutely insane that a literal HOSPITAL with an ER is just closed when human beings expect you (of all places) to be open and ready to help a medical emergency.
I do NOT want that feeling to happen to ANYONE ELSE because it was the worst possible feeling in the world. Do better...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had the worst service at this ER by the ER Dr. Canchola who looked as though I had severely inconvenienced him by showing up to the ER on a recommendation from my virtual nurse to go to an ER within the hour. I had been experiencing some sever side effects from medication for an infection to which I brought with me but Dr. Canchola dismissed my Doctors diagnosis and my description of symptoms almost immediately! His reasoning behind his immediate diagnosis was that none of the medicine I was taking could cause any of the side effects I described. I tried to explain that the medication under the side effects description from the pharmacist showed those same exact symptoms but he decided that there was NO WAY that medicine would make me feel that way. His final diagnosis was that I was under too much stress and needed a nap..... I paid MONEY for a medically trained Dr. To tell me I'm stressed and need to nap!!! I find it VERY difficult to save money in today's economy and emergencies almost feel like they need to be scheduled in order for people to afford but in this case! I have never felt so wronged and robbed for my hard earned money for a moment that I needed help. I'm very glad that I did not die that night but i can guarantee you it was not by the care provided by this ER or Dr. Canchola! I will never return and will tell everyone I know and just meet to save themselves time and money. Honestly the rest of the staff was very nice and seemed to care but were not...
