Hi. My colleagues and I are really dumbfounded by a recent response we saw and read. I didn’t post my experience then but feel it’s pertinent now. We were looking to commission a gift out of leather for someone who had lost both of her parents. Our end goal was mid-April. That would have been roughly 2 months. So it’s not like we needed something with an unrealistic deadline. Yes, it would have been a small order. We picked Manready to see if they could do the work because the person’s mother was from overseas and her father was a native Texan. Her father was a huge supporter of small businesses and grew up much like what is said about Mr. Weaver’s background. We thought how fitting to have something made representing her father by another fellow Texan of similar upbringing to hold up something representing her mother. A colleague and I had called during business hours we got no answer. This was done prior to emailing. I personally emailed the info@ address on Jan 31. It was sent on a Tuesday. I didn’t hear back after a couple of days so that weekend we tried stopping in. We were not even acknowledged in store. I did not get a email response until 5 days later, 6 days if you count the day it was emailed and not counting weekends. Ms. Sison responded. She asked for a good contact number. I thanked her for the response but that we were going with a different business. Sadly, our experience via phone, email and in store is what did it. Let it be said that some have had not so good experiences and don’t even bother to post because we chalk it up to having an off day or what it can do to a small business. While I have continued to support and recommend Manready because they had unusual items but after reading a response there are some inconsistencies that don’t sit well with me or my colleagues who were trying do something meaningful for another. The email response time given by Manready, I disagree. Strongly. The phone issue during business hours is a problem. Asking for a good contact number in the email after everything was mildly comical. 5-6 days already had passed via email contact, no idea how long to wait for contact if I had given a phone number, not being able to get through, not knowing if it was something that could or couldn’t be done with the lack of priority to communication- all of that cuts into the time that maybe another maker would need. We really had hoped that this could have worked out as I said in the email, the person it was meant for really means...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of shopping at Manready, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Rick, who exuded genuine enthusiasm and passion for the store and its products.
First and foremost, the selection of clothing at Manready is top-notch. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship is evident in every piece. Whether you’re looking for rugged outdoor gear or stylish urban wear, Manready has something for everyone. Rick’s knowledge of the products was impressive; he was able to guide me through the store, offering valuable insights and recommendations tailored to my preferences.
What truly sets Manready apart, however, is the exceptional level of customer service provided by Rick. He went above and beyond to ensure that I had a positive shopping experience. Not only did he patiently answer all of my questions, but he also took the time to understand my needs and preferences, making personalized suggestions that were spot on. His attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction are truly commendable.
Furthermore, Rick’s genuine passion for the brand and its ethos was palpable throughout my visit. He shared fascinating stories about the origins of various products and the company’s commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. It’s clear that Manready is more than just a clothing store; it’s a community built on values of authenticity and integrity.
In addition to the excellent service and high-quality products, I also appreciated the inviting atmosphere of the store itself. The rustic decor and cozy ambiance made for a pleasant and relaxing shopping environment. It’s evident that a lot of thought and care went into creating a space that reflects the spirit of the brand.
Overall, my experience at Manready exceeded my expectations in every way. Rick’s exceptional service, combined with the store’s impeccable selection of clothing and inviting atmosphere, make it a standout destination for anyone in search of quality apparel and genuine hospitality. I will definitely be returning to Manready for all of my future clothing needs, and I highly recommend...
Read moreMy review is for a Manready Mercantile product - not for their place of business. If I could rate the candle we purchased I'd give it 1-star but I don't want to bring down their rating for their shop just because I didn't like one of their products, especially since I've never been there, hence the 4 stars.)
I recently purchased one of their candles from a shop in San Antonio. It was the KARMAWOOD + VETIVER scented candle. I typically use another brand of candle that we love because we love the scent and the scent lasts so long- but this karmawood + vetiver scent smelled so GOOD I had to have it. But when we got the candle home and burned it, I was disappointed. The other candle brand we typically burn permeates throughout our home with only an hour or so burn-time and you can smell the scent for a couple of days after a burn. We initially let our new Manready candle burn for about 3-4 hours. We couldn't smell anything but burnt wick. And after we burned it the scent even faded from the candle itself- meaning after the hot wax solidified, the scent was barely present. We can hardly smell the scent anymore from just the cold wax. The box it came in smells stronger than the candle. Their candles are not cheap, but they are comparable and actually a bit less than our usual brand. Still we expected a scented candle to produce a scent that would linger in our house. The candle we purchased is basically a pricey plain soy wax candle that offers a bit of mood lighting. If you just want a candle for mood lighting which is what this candle basically is, you can find better priced soy candles from a dollar store. If and when they get their essential oil-to-wax ratio better dialed in, I'd try this scent again- because it really...
