I've been a happy customer for many many years. I always go to sportsclips even when I am out of State. I've had 90-95% same type of haircut through the years (very small chance of deviation from what I've always wanted) and I've seen how the prices of these haircuts progressed in time in Sportsclips. Today, I was charged an additional $10 for a service called "detailed varsity haircut (all fade)" which I am not sure is any different from what I always asked the hairstylist to do. The normal haircut, especially since my top is thinning, is zero on all sides to the highest the hairstylist would be able to, and trim the top to the shortest to what he/she thinks is good to my liking. Generally, make a fade just to transition from zero (on all sides) to 0.5 at the very top. It's all razor and a bit of scissors that I've always experienced. I just don't understand where that special detail comes from. I feel that an additional charge is inappropriate. This is the first time I encountered a guy stylist in Sportsclips, who was the manager of that branch, who said that all the hairstylists who worked on me in the past, made a mistake charging me the normal varsity cut. He said he spent more time on my hair detailing the fade. Truthfully, I do not see any difference from normal happy visits to any Sportsclips. He even hit my left eye with a brush. Now, I'm having thoughts of finding a new shop since the prices are way too...
Read moreFirst and Foremost I will say I have been coming here for years. I've had many stylists and have found Sansinee to be the best there. For a good part of those years I have always requested Sansinee. Today with the store reopening post (quarantine regulations) I arrived 20 minutes after they opened and my issue was not how long the wait was to get the actual haircut but it was the system that was being used. The app is not fair to those that came in person to check in and wait patiently until their turn. I waited an hour and a half outside the storefront and then was told I could enter the store, and sanitize my hands since I was next... The first issue was they had disregarded my request for Sansinee and I had to wait slightly longer. As the person in the chair was finishing up with Sansinee I was informed that someone who had checked in the app had arrived and I would have to wait for them to go first... At this point I was already there I had no other choice but to pick the first available stylist and get a haircut I had waited months for. It's extremely disappointing especially because there was no apology or some sort of sympathy. I will not be returning as this is poor treatment of someone who has been going to you guys for many years.
-$30 for a two hour wait, didn't get the stylist I...
Read moreI had my hair cut, and it exemplified precision and detail; I couldn't be more satisfied with the result. The investment in a quality haircut from Alex, or any member of his skilled and professional team, is absolutely worth it. I was greeted by a team of stylists who all take pride in their craft. Alex took the time to consult with me about what I wanted, listening to my preferences and offering pertinent suggestions based on my hair type (wavy) and face shape (oval). This personalized approach set the tone for what would be a great experience. I was impressed by his meticulous attention to detail and technique. The scissors and clippers, when appropriate, were executed with finesse, especially in the way he blended the sides and back with the top, ensuring a seamless transition that looked both sharp and stylish. He used a straight razor, creating clean lines that framed my face perfectly. This level of detail is often overlooked in standard haircuts, but it made a significant difference in the overall look. If you're looking for a haircut that prioritizes precision and detail, I highly recommend Alex or any member of his team. They understand the importance of a...
