I just finished shopping for business suits/apparel here and the staff were AMAZING! I’m not a huge shopper and I had to write a review about how incredible Diamond and John did with helping me and my sister with our shopping experience! They not only helped us put a couple of professional looks together that neither of us had thought of, but they also were mindful of different styles, sizes and our budget. They also made us feel so comfortable while giving such thoughtful suggestions that it made me want to spend even more time there. Diamond and John both showed their fashion knowledge as well to give pointers on everything down to blouses and shoes that would go well with suits that I browsed for. I came in not having a single professional outfit in my wardrobe to leaving with two looks that I could dress down and up for my interviews and nights out. As a person who has a hard time shopping for herself, I really really appreciated their thoughtfulness and kindness! Read moreI used to shop at this location all the time. Since the staff have turned over, the customer service has gotten so rude. The male employee repeatedly guilt trips customers who return things to the store. A few weeks ago, I witnessed him lecture a customer returning an item bought from a different store saying that her return hurts their store and she shouldn’t have bought the item from a different store. He accused her of cheating on the store. The other day I returned an item I bought online and he lectured me in the same tone, saying that I shouldn’t come in unless I plan to shop because not shopping will make the store close down. Actually, I was shopping but his tone immediately made me want to leave. They really need to have better customer service training. WHBM policy allows people to return things in store and quite frankly, the only way to get petite clothing is online nowadays. Read moreVery rude customer service! I went in to return some items I purchased at another location. She asked if I wanted to look around to exchange. I declined, due to timing. I was trying to make small talk and she felt the need to lecture me as if I make returns there on a daily basis. She told me that "if I shop at the other location, I should be making my returns there". That "it affects the store where the returns are made". And that "if all I did was return at their store, they would get shut down." It wasn't necessarily what she said, but HOW she said it. I felt so embarrassed. I literally haven't stepped foot in the Rice Village location in 4 years. I get that it's not fair that they are affected if returns are made there. Perhaps a lot of people return there?
