White House Black Market — Local services in Houston

Customer service is lacking (I guess depending on who you are). My sister and I went inside the store in casual attire (jeans & tee) and we could FEEL the judgment. It’s quite comical. We walked in and we weren’t greeted. But some women came in behind us and we’re greeted immediately (white women, of course). Neither of the two women employees offered any help or showed any interest about my sister becoming a new member. I’ll give them 2 stars because we found an excellent piece to complete my sister’s graduation “look”. However I feel that there should be some training on implicit bias. NEGLECTFUL EMPLOYEES.

Usually the people working here are very good, hence the three stars, but this time these two were on their phones the entire time giggling about TikTok videos without ever acknowledging that there were people here. From time of entry, til walk out time. Day October 17 @ 18:20 they spent all 30 minutes looking down.

The girl with the blonde highlights was at least courteous while the black haired lady acted annoyed.
