My husband and I got there at 7:30pm to wash my car, and by 7:45 they were already turning off the vacuums while my husband was in the middle of using them. They said they had to turn it off for "Maintenance", not sure why the "maintenance" couldn't wait till 8pm when they close, but we had to move to the middle vacuums, which didn't work as good as the one we were using prior. Also, the car wash wasn't great. The car didn't get cleaned well at all. I always go around the car after a wash with a towel to dry it & get missed spots, and it was already really dry in certain areas & dirty. I had to wet my towel with a water bottle I had, just to get the missed spots. Just not a great experience. Our first, and last time, going here.
Edit to add: There is no need for me to contact you again. You put that same generic statement on all bad post. Just fix your machines so that they work right and talk to the staff about not shutting down the vacuums in the middle of someone using them, especially without talking to them about it first. Why are they shutting them down early? Doesn't make sense. And I didn't appreciate him pointing at his watch and telling me "Time" when I asked him why they are shutting them down when it was only 7:45. Fix these issues, so it doesn't happen to...
Read moreNormally I don't like to take my car through an automatic wash. Being short on time, I needed to get my grimy car cleaned. I saw negative reviews about how they now have a person at the check in for express. I found this helpful because it's been a while since I've been here and he helped me pick a wash. The wash itself was good but there were still spots on my hood. My fault as I neglected to clean the car sooner. I give them a five star because of the friendly service at front and free vacuums! Make sure you bring a soft rag with you to wipe off excess water! Blue car is my old car, taken early 2021, silver one my new car taken today!
Updated review. It was Swish car wash now Whitewater, excellent. Keep in mind that earlier reviews say the wheels aren't completely clean. An automatic car wash can't remove everything, it requires some hand work to remove all the brake dust and dirt. Luckily they have a station which has all purpose cleaner and window cleaner. I love the complimentary towels great for cleaning the car off. Vacuums have great suction and floor mat machines work great. Last, if you want a totally clean car you're going to have to work at cleaning all the nooks and crannies. Staff is excellent...
Read moreGood workers are the difference in quality here vs other car wash places. They’re more present here, will actually converse with you, and give you tips to better clean your car.
Every time I’ve gone through, the worker at the start of the car wash always welcomes me, brushes the front bumper, windshield, and rear of my car with a long brush they dip in a bucket of soapy water as sort of a pre-wash. Love it.
The vacuums and pressurized air guns work well, and they have little blue towels available for all to use that are slightly damp to help clean, with the option to add either window cleaner or general cleaner. So convenient! Lastly, not only they have the floor mat cleaners, but they have a machine that can even shampoo them for you! Again, all are available and not some “premium” option. Much better choice than Mister Car Wash.
Went to them when a friend recommended it to me, and immediately cancelled with MCW.
The only con is that their locations are a bit sparse throughout the central Houston area. They are mostly located on the edges of town, but that obviously hasn’t swayed me. I live nearby to this one so it’s no...
