World Market — Local services in Houston

I don't know how to say this but here we go, this is the only world market that make me feel like I'm doing something wrong. Last time I was there idk if it was the manager but omg how rude and what a uncomfortable situation. I was attending a very important phone call so it was hard for me to concentrate on the shopping so when I realized I was standing by the books and cards and I noticed that the lady was just standing there like the police but acting like she wasn't checking on me, I wanted to think she was waiting for customers or something but no! As I try to continue my phone call I noticed she haven't moved from the same place practically like 10 steps from me thank God I need it to go because omg! That's not the way u treat your customers. She doesn't know me and I bought expensive beautiful funitures from the store in Katy in the past and much more, I'm a big fan but I'm taking my biz to another location even if i has to drive 30 or 40 more minutes. I'm starting to think that some of the stuff are not imported from another country, it's crazy but true like the lil wood elephant that I adore I saw it on a craft store without the white paint like paint it yourself kinda project and other lil stuff Too I'm somehow disappointed about that because they're not the cheapest store and ppl pay those prices thinking that they are buying unique or at least more...

There is a wide array of items in here from international snacks and foods, alcohols, furniture, home decor, kitchen items, and more. The store is always kept very clean and organized. There's usually only a small handful of pleasant staff, but it's easy enough to find everything without needing help. My favorite thing to go in for is the 55% food expiry items. It let's me try some of the foods I wouldn't have otherwise bought at full price and see if I want to buy them again later if I end up liking them. If you plan on shopping here at least a few times, become a member so you can get details on their near daily discounts, sales, and events. The cashier was really helpful, I'd say my reason for a lower rating is that due to a deal they were supposedly offering, I was told I'd get 15% off my purchase for signing up but after their website wouldn't load forever, holding up the line so I felt like a jerk, it DID NOT give me the coupon I was offered for 15% off. All the while, the manager is standing there taking up space at one of the registers doing the books and did or said nothing to rectify the situation. I always loved coming here in the past for stocking stuffers and party favor bags, but I'm not sure this experience pushes me...
