I dislike having to share a negative experience, but honest reviews are necessary. My husband and I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. We thought we would enjoy an early dinner with good conversation, but we were in for a surprise. As soon as we walked in, the hostess and the young lady that actually sat us down both had an attitude. The hostess even rolled her eyes at us when we asked to be seated in a booth, there were about five of them open. The place was packed and we noticed they have a live band set up and they were actually getting ready to play. We were seated and given menus. While we looked over the menu, which is extensive, we were shocked by live music. The sound of the instruments playing is so loud, I mean absurd. I literally felt something in my ear pop when the music started playing and we were seated towards the back of the restaurant. I cannot stress how obnoxiously loud the music is. I could not have a conversation with my husband who was just across the table from me. I was literally screaming at him. Our waitress Yahaira was super sweet and attentive. When we placed our order, she had to lean into my husband's mouth, almost as if he was sharing a secret because she couldn't hear him. Our shrimp cocktails came out and his was wrong. He blamed it on her not hearing because of how loud the music is. She took it back and brought it out correctly after 3 different people came to the table to ask him what was wrong with it. It was simple, no cilantro, no tomato. I was so annoyed with the music I couldn't enjoy the food and kept my finger over the ear I felt something pop in. I didn't even take pictures to show off the food presentation, but that's where it stopped. Even though they were plated nicely, they lacked major flavor. They were super bland. Even the tortillas seemed to be undercooked. I couldn't wait to get the hell out of here. We got a few minutes of relief when the band decided to take a break to eat which was honestly the best part of the experience. I don't know if this live music business is an every day thing or just on the weekends, but I would call ahead and ask because there is no way in hell that I could bring my parents here, not even a child with how obnoxious...
Read moreOn July 18,2024 had dinner and I ask the waitress if they devein the shrimp and she said yes. I order a shrimp cocktail and saw it wasn’t devein, I let her know and she said “well I thought you mean take of the shells” so I tell her I won’t eat that and I will like to order something else. She took the shrimp cocktail and charged me for it. Manager never came to spoke with me.
I decided to pay the bill and leave the restaurant. I give the waitress Hilary my credit card and she said was declined, I give her a different credit card and she also said was declined. I ask her to show me the screen were she was swiping my cards and then I logging into my bank account and show her that in the first credit card she swiped it 2 times and on my 2nd credit card she swipe it 4 types. I ask to speak to the manager she came very rude and was so closed to me and scream at me and said “ look what is said in your bank statement it says pending and she slapped my hand, I ask her to please step away from me and not scream at me and she turn around and walked away to the kitchen. If that’s how she treats a customer I can’t imagine how she treats the staff. Whoever hired that manager needs to have a serious talk with her in how to be a professional manager. She refused to give me her name.
I pay the waitress cash for everything I order including a shrimp cocktail I didn’t eat. It was a very unpleasant experience and will never go back to that restaurant. I wanted to share this and maybe the owner of this restaurant can have a meeting with the staff specifically with the manager. I hope the owner check the security cameras of that incident that occurred on July 18, 2024 at 11:40pm table B2. Also, if anyone had the same issue please check your bank statement and make sure they don’t over charge your cards. I already...
Read moreWorst experience of my life! 38 years old and I've never been robbed like I did at this place. Came in on a Saturday night and omg do I regret it. Security patted me and my 14 year old son for weapons. That should have been a red flag. Inside, the music was so loud, you'd think you were at a club. I requested to sit outside in the patio. They sat us down on a dirty table and I was thinking they would have came back and wipe it down but no they didn't. The waitress didn't speak English so she didn't understand what a neat bourbon was. We only got 1 menu so I didn't even get to take my time and select what I wanted to eat. Everyone had chips and salsa except us. They supposedly "ran" out, even though I witnessed other tables getting them served. We ordered a ceviche plate and my son got the tomahawk steak. The menu didn't mention any price for the steak, just stated market price. I know that beef is expensive right now but I didn't think twice to order it because of the restaurant we were in. It's just a cheap Mexican restaurant so I didn't expect to pay an extravagant amount of money for it. Boy was I wrong.... We waited like 40 minutes for the food to arrive. When the food finally arrived, we had to wait another 5 minutes for utensils. We just hurried and ate our food so we could leave that unsavory place. I asked for my bill and was absolutely shocked! They charge $120 for their tomahawk steak. The thing wasn't even a full size tomahawk. It wasn't thick or dry aged or wagu or anything special. If you read this, please dine somewhere else. This place will rob you blind. The worst service ever and the food just isn't even worth it. You can go to taste of Texas and dine like a king. Their prices for a huge quality tomahawk steak is $130. Just let that sink in....
