I really like this location, but I’d encourage them to take another look at their schedule. It feels monotonous and a bit limiting, and the class times don’t seem to make much sense to me. They consistently offer Restore, Hot, and Sculpt & Flow classes almost every day, but rarely offer 101 or Slow Flow classes. When those are available, 101 is typically scheduled during weekday mornings, and Slow Flow is limited to one morning and one evening class per week.
It often feels like I’m trying to force this location into my schedule, but it rarely works. For example, the only 101 class this week is on Friday from 9:30–10:30 AM, which only appeals to those who don’t work traditional 9–5 jobs. There also aren’t many late afternoon an d options for people who prefer working out later in the day. It seems like between 1 PM and 6 PM they don’t have classes at all actually. On top of that, this location doesn’t host as many themed classes as the Heights location, which are always packed. I’m actually not sure if they host themed classes at all. The height location does things like serenity session restore classes, heart opening restore classes, Drake themed hot classes, etc. Since I have the option to go to both locations, I tend to go to that location more because their marketing is more exciting and I know more of what I’m getting into. The restore classes at west u feel a bit more generic and may range from super serene to a low intensity but full workout session with breathing a minute or two at the end.
I also wish that on Sundays, the restore class was after all of the other classes. To me, that makes the most logical sense. I like to stack restore after harder workouts too… Well, restore lol. I don’t want to do restore and then do hot yoga, I want to do hot yoga and then do restore. Sunday evening classes overall would be nice. I just want ore from this location…
I prefer this location because it’s closer to me, but I find it challenging to book classes I want. I’ve already used all four credits at the Heights location while struggling to use even one or two here. The main reason is that they don’t offer enough Slow Flow and 101 classes, which is what I really want to take. I tried Sculpt & Flow here, but the room was over 100°F, even though I later learned it’s not supposed to exceed 90°F—so I probably won’t take that class again because it wasn’t fun at that temperature, even though the instructor was great.
Overall, this isn’t enough to take a star away, but I wanted to share this feedback because I genuinely want to attend this location more often. However, I don’t take Hot or Sculpt & Flow classes, which leaves me with very limited after-work options. I hope they consider mixing up the schedule more and offering greater variety, especially in the evenings. It would also be great to see more themed classes advertised in the app, similar to what the Heights...
Read moreI was direct marketed to join this studio in advance of their opening. I paid for a "founding member" membership close to a year in advance of opening. They delayed the opening multiple times, changed the location 3 times all the while becoming less convenient as a location for me. I was not informed when the "soft opening" was taking place or how and when I could begin scheduling classes. By the time I was informed I could schedule classes by downloading an app I believe my 1st month's "founding member" membership was over and I was already past due for the 2nd month's membership. At that time I informed Danielle at the studio and Alex Wolf via email I did not want to continue membership with the studio. Their "past due" emails state you can resolve billing issues by replying to the email. This, as it turns out, is a flat lie. They would not cancel my membership in the manner in which the email states, would not cancel my membership via communication with Danielle at the studio and when I first called the number in the email I was prompted to leave a message. I left a message requesting my membership be cancelled and to call me if more info was needed and no one returned my phone call. While all this back and forth is going on they continue to charge monthly membership fees rather than cancel my membership. BEWARE of bait and switch membership offers!
Another reason I initially signed up was they advertised in their text messages that they would have drop in classes for different experience levels all day long. This is untrue. Classes are strictly scheduled via their app. There are no drop in classes. Skip this place and go to a non-corporate run studio. They drag their feet when trying to cancel a membership and then threaten to send you to collections if you don't agree with them. I have lodged a complaint with the BBB and the BBB doesn't even know of this business' existence in...
Read moreI came for a free session. Then they tricked me to accept a promotion. $20 for 20 days. I asked I can come anytime, she said yes. I said then i might be able to come for 2 times a week to finish the 20 sessions . She said after the 20 sessions, your membership starts for $100 a month.
I have not had the time to attend any session for the 20 sessions. Already i paid $20. Have not gone to any!
Then I did a surgery. Can’t work. And I dont want to waste money on this now. I was surprised they deducted $149 for membership. (She said $100). They took $149. Plus i have not used the 20 sessions; and now she says the 20 sessions are for the first 20 days😂!! I told her before i will come twice a week to use the 20 sessions promotion. Afterward the membership $100. She said yes.
This is not miss-communication. This is pure sales lies techniques to fool customers to accept something. Who for God sake can do 20 sessions during 20 days or during a month exept a lazy woman who have nothing in her life! Go wake up. I need my full...
