If there were a way to rate this store a zero I would. I have been a platinum to diamond Ulta shopper for many years. In fact when the loyalty program started I was one of the pioneers. I arrived to this location and passed 2-3 associates right at the entrance and was not greeted by a single one. In my past experiences in other stores I am usually greeted by at least the security guard and the cashier. Once fully in the store I was greeted by a cashier and given a sneer by an older lady there that I later came to find out, I asked an associate, was a manager by the name of Lisa. Being a military spouse I have been fortunate to visit many stores of different sell volumes but never, even during the high stress holiday season of shopping, have I been looked at with disdain. As I proceeded to speak to the cashier that greeted me this particular manager continued to watch me. Maybe she was looking at the interaction or maybe I was being watched as I am a Latina and this behavior is not new to me. It was very uncomfortable for me. I did glance over to her and even then I was not acknowledged as a customer. Once I had made my selections I just left them with the cashier. The situation was just uncomfortable and I would rather spend money elsewhere.
I attempted to make a purchase again a few days later as it was not stocked close by. Again I witnessed the same manager mentioned above displaying behavior I cannot agree with. She was vulgarly and obscenely attacking the cashier I had just spoken to a few days prior. The way that the cashier stood there remaining her composure as customers, myself included, stood in line and witnessed it was yet another uncomfortable experience. How is this behavior permitted ? Lisa needs to either be removed of her position or be retrained in what her...
Read moreManagement team here is disrespectful. I made sure to be as nice as possible when I reported that I was unhappy with my salon service because I am not the type of person to complain or be confrontational but they were not understanding or kind whatsoever which is exactly why people don’t feel comfortable speaking up when they’re unhappy. Additionally I was trying to avoid hurting the stylists feelings because she was a lovely person but the management turned it into a much bigger thing than it needed to be. Basically tried to accuse me of just trying to get a free salon service on the phone and when I physically came in for the refund has the same issue. Was asked if I made any recent posts on social media with my new hair flaunting it and then when I came in for the refund was told it’s strange to report this a week later. Mind you, I got the service done August 8th and I called cooperate August 9th and again August 10th because they told me I had to wait for the purchase to post to my rewards account first. I quite literally have an email from guest services from August 10th stating they would be contacting the general manager. People wonder why you’d rather go through cooperate than the in store management team. Making someone feel like an idiot in front of other people in the store over a refund for a fraction of the sales they make in a day. Was offered a complementary fix service on my hair but in order to fix my hair I will now have to bleach it which I am not comfortable doing - I made it very clear in my consultation that I wanted to change my hair color in the healthiest way possible. I am not a thief and to accuse someone of that after they left with their hair looking nothing like what the desired look was is insane to me. Do...
Read moreCame in today super excited to do my hair. There are 2 stylist I typically see but one of them left and the other wasn’t available so I went for whoever was free the earliest. I get there is traffic there is nothing you can do about it but the stylist ended up showing up about 15-20 mins late. She then took me over and without even asking any questions or to see a photo she said so I see your down for a total blonde I dont think you should do that, you should really do a full highlight. I said well I would like to be fully blonde thats usually what I do. She then said my hair was too dark and I probably couldnt be blonde. At this point my hair is grown out alot by my tips are blonde and I kept up with my front pieces so I explain that the brown is the only thing I want lighted to match the outgrown blonde. She then walks away goes on the computer and comes back to state then that I will need a full highlight and total blonde because my hair is pretty much a color correction but that even then I may not be blonde because I am so dark. At this point she still hasnt asked me how light am I trying to go to, asking to see any refrences or my previous experience seeing as I do this every year. I asked her how much the quote would be and she said about 235, which really I would pay its not bad, but the overall experience turned me off so I left. 235 isn’t a bad price at all but what is bad is being told I need a color correction and that I cant be blonde because I am too dark, when I go blonde every year. I always lift very quickly and I am not asking to go lighter then what I was previously lifted to, just to match. Very disappointing experience. She was not rude she was very nice but just...
