Used to come here once a week. Never ever had a bad experience at any Chipotle. The one in Howell which is the one I'm doing the review for isn't my home location. I'm more familiar with the one by Princeton and Freehold. Today they close @ 10pm. I showed up @ 9:38 pm. I go in to order and an employee tells me they can only take online orders right now and I replied back saying "that's fine". I was just at this location 2 days ago and they were doing walk ins then. The employee did say they do walk ins but that at the moment they were only doing online orders. They did have all the food out of the containers which was interesting considering they're open for another 22 minutes. Anyway, I go to order online and another employee states that the online order has to be submitted before 9:45pm. After I selected the items I wanted it said "no pickup times available. There were no other customers at the location either. I ask the guy who answered some of my questions if I could please just pay CASH and he responded they have no change. I told him he can keep the change as a tip. It kinda felt like they were looking for every reason to not serve me a $10 burrito bowl instead of finding one reason to accommodate a customer. If you cannot accommodate customers who come in almost 30 minutes before you close then you need to adjust your hours of operation. I could understand if it was 9:50 and there was 10 minutes until closing and I walked in. The vibe ✨ that I received here was that they didn't want my business and had an excuse for everything. I put the order in before 9:45 like he told me to do & etc. Even though the food wasn't right up front they had the food in the back. Read moreSince my experience here has been consistent, I feel I must leave a review. It is unbelievable how awful this restaurant is ran. The line is always filthy; pans stacked, no one is wiping the line itself down, or they're using the cardboard inner cover for the kids meal box to scrape things into their hand. No one has a clear spot on the line. No one is even marking the bowls as they get wrapped, so you have people having to waste time figuring that out. It's already enough I've watched 3 full lines of people make it past the register and my ticket is still hanging out of the printer with 6 other tickets. You have people handling money, then running to get gloves and working the food portion of the line, without washing their hands prior to putting the gloves on. They're on their phone. My order was due at 8:20, I waited another 20 minutes to get my food, after waiting 15 minutes in front of the register, not even being acknowledged in a timely manner. I ordered crunchy kids tacos, came with flour tortillas.
I'll order dogturd McDonalds before I come here again. I worked 11 hours today. I just wanted food quickly so I can get home, eat, shower and go to bed so I can do it again tomorrow.

Read moreI'm going to give it 3, 3 and half stars. I've been going here for years and I love how a couple of people even know my face and they always make sure my order is right everytime. But today I was completely disappointed. I ordered the same bowl I've been ordering for years and when the guy on the line asked me what I wanted on my bowl I told him "I want brown rice" there was not even a spoon full of rice in the container. I dont know what he was thinking of scraping into my bowl but there was barely any rice in there. I asked him if there was more and he proceeded to walk around the corner and got rice from back there. I was confused because the cook just finished cooking fresh brown rice and when he came back around I asked him if it was fresh and he said yes and the reason he went back there was because they rotate the old and new rice? I didn't really understand and his voice was low do I just took him for his word. I work all the way in freehold so I took the time to come down here on my break because I know for me it's the best Chipotle spot, but I feel like I wasted gas to get something that wasn't even hot, the rice was cold and the meat was as well.
