Of the hundreds of times Iâve been to a CVS, this visit was the most unusual. One woman working there likes to harass customers.
In the distance for the first half of my visit, I heard a woman yelling at the self checkout.
Then for the second half, I sensed a looming presence throughout my browsing. In the corner of my eye, Iâd see the same woman standing at the end of my aisle watching. Whenever I looked over, she would then shuffle out of sight.
I ignored it and continued shopping.
Approaching the self checkout, I was about to scan my first item, minding my own business. The same woman got really close to me, and repeatedly yelled, âPut the item in the bagging area!â which made no sense because I didnât scan it yet. Iâve used the CVS self checkouts hundreds of times and didnât need her help.
But she wouldnât stop yelling it, so I did what she said even though she was wrong, and of course the system gave an alarm saying unchecked item in bagging area. Then she exclaimed, âNow I fixâ and scanned her badge to fix it. Very odd.
I tried to ignore her and continue scanning with her looming over my shoulder.
I was going to scan my FSA card to see if any of my items qualified, and she kept demanding to know what kind of card it was. I told her, and she grabbed it out of my hands and tried to do it for me without asking. âCard no work. Use different card,â she yelled. I was pretty agitated since itâs a âselfâ checkout yet she felt the need to âhelpâ which was just getting in the way.
I pulled out my credit card and she began yelling over and over, âNot yet!â and trying to grab my card.
I was fed up and just ignored her, scanned the card as she kept yelling, and of course the transaction was successful because I know how to do it myself. She then angrily left me to harass another customer at the next self checkout, giving them false, demanding instructions too.
Very unprofessional...
Read moreThe wait at CVS in Hudson Massachusetts is extraordinarily long. When I started filling my disabled motherâs prescriptions there it used to be a 15 to 20 minute wait now I am quoted one hour. However, most recent visit this past Tuesday, August 25, 2020 the prescriptions were faxed over from the doctors office at 8:50 in the morning and the quoted time for pick up was 9:30 AM. When I arrived at the pharmacy at 9:30 AM they told me the prescriptions were not ready, finally at 11:00 AM the prescriptions were ready. Two hours and 10 minutes to fill three prescriptions is completely unacceptable.
Then on August 26, 2020 at 6:10 PM I arrive at the CVS located in Hudson MA again to pick up prescriptions for my disabled mother, at which time Deborah the pharmacy technician greeted me at the drive-through I provided the name and date of birth. She told me they were two prescriptions and she would be right back. She came back with the two prescriptions gave me the total at which time I handed her through the drive-through drawer a $100 bill. She said she was not sure she had changed she had to check the front, when she returned she put the change in the bag proceeded to just throw the bag in the drive-through drawer slammed open the drive-through drawer and walked away. No thank you no have a nice day not even asking if I had questions for the pharmacist. Since when has this become the normal for CVS?
In the last six months this location has gone so far downhill. The unprofessionalism of the staff and pharmacists needs to be corrected and some training on customer service skills needs to be completed.
If Walgreens or Walmart pharmacies had the medication on hand and did not have to order them I would definitely be bringing my business to one of...
Read moreMy husband had received a call from his elderly aunt yesterday who needed an over the counter UTI preventative drink additive. Her doctor recommended it, and she wanted to start taking it asap. She doesn't drive but was able to call the pharmacy and speak with someone. They assured her they would hold a box of the mix at the counter, but did tell her she could not prepay. We've dealt with many different scenarios before so this didn't seem too difficult. My husband waited in the car and I ran I. I waited in line since I understand people were waiting for medication and it seemed as if they were busy. When it was my turn the young lady was nice but confused. She asked for the birthday of the patient and I explained it was an over the counter drink mix. When I called my husband the pharmacist started yelling at me and the associate that I needed to get out of line and not waste time. I tried to explain but she wouldn't hear it. I understand your busy and it's Friday at 5pm, but we also waited in line, his aunt made a call and your pharmacy was going to help her. CVS, hire more staff so your employees dont...
