Had a disgusting and awful experience here. Id been here twice before and everything was fine but I took my mom here for mothers day yesterday and what a disaster and waste of money! We ordered the crunchy tuna roll and queen maki first when it came to our table the tuna inside looked grayish brown and it was in little pieces mashed together inside the roll. It instantly didn't look okay to eat and our instincts immediately went off not to eat it. When we complained they tried to give an explanation and wanted us to eat it still. They told us it was called roofing tuna and it was a different level of tuna. Ummmm I've never seen anything like it before and I've eaten sushi my entire life. So when we sent it back we ordered more rolls to replace those 2. And those ones were made with normal pink sushi tuna. Then something unbelievable happened completely insulting....they sent over the "chef special" which we didn't ask for, it was supposedly an apology, it was 2 big scoops of that nasty looking tuna on top of some green chip.....they really wanted us to eat the exact thing that disgusted us in the first place. We sent that back too and our waitress was shocked we didn't want to eat the complimentary dish..UH no freaking way!!! Beers were the only good thing. Not going back. Oh ya I almost forgot they tried to charge me for the rolls we sent back and then took 30 mins on the phone with the owner trying to get it taken off our bill....

Starting with the good: The chef was amazing, food quality was great and chefs service was awesome. Provided a great experience for us. if you want good food and a great service for the majority of your meal try this place out!
The bad: The busser/greeter guy who gave us soup and the check was extremely rude while we were ordering and didnt treat us well UNTIL he noticed me slip a few dollars to the chef (I watched him look over while i slipped him the money) After that point he came over and asked us VERY VERY VERY… Nicely how our food was. I let him know the food was amazing. However he was extremely helpful at this point where it made me and my wife extremely uncomfortable, when he handed the check book he hovered over my wife as she wrote the tip. She closed the book and he picked it up before she could even put it down to look at the tip. We go here about once/twice month with groups of people and have never received service from this greeter and will not be coming back for a while in hopes that the owner/manager handles this appropriately. I understand that times are tough right now but that is no reason to put a reliable customer in a...
Read moreSay hello burbia to a low key sushi joint in the same strip mall as your beloved Pet Smart and Honeydew Donuts. I've secretly enjoyed the restaurant for 5 years but it's time I expressed my love to all of Yelp.
This review is for both lunch and dinner.
Feng has done some cool decor changes that make you feel like you're amongst the cherry blossoms in Japan. Most impressive is this doesn't look tacky. They have a large dining space that can seat 40-50 along with a sushi bar and sports/alcohol bar. The service is always strong with the one weakness being English fluency. Their specialty sushi rolls are up there with the best with my favorites being the Hudson roll and the Sweetheart roll. Their basic rolls are always a good deal at $4-5/roll, but they tend to leave the two end pieces woefully short on meat. Presentation of sushi on the plates is okay but not ultra decadent and artsy like other...
