It was not good this year For Hudson Hot Air Balloon Affair on February 8th 2025. First the Market place/craft show was not big like it use to be because River Crest Elementary gym is small it’s not like EP Elementary and then had to take a shuttle from different locations and we took a shuttle from Plaza 94 it was awful had to wait along time to get on and heard others say this year should of been cancelled and I can not agree more. This was not planned very well at all should have had more than one shuttle to a location. Have two busses to each location. I understand that EP Elementary has construction going on but could have picked a different location than River Crest Elementary. Quite possibly the best true winter balloon festival in a cold climate. Hudson's own winter carnival does very well competing in the tight market for winter festivals in the area. Really neat event. Great place to take kids to watch balloons take off, but have them on harnesses if they're a bit wild/wandery as the balloons need their space to inflate.
