A message to the owner on August 3rd to which I never received a response: I have grown up considering your restaurant to be a delicacy for our family. It was always a special treat if we were able to get the best Chinese in the area! Now as an adult, I have always spoken so highly of your food and service and have NEVER had an issue till my order this week. The only edible item we had in our order were the cream cheese wontons. My mother couldn't even eat her favorite shrimp fried rice because it tasted burnt and was way too salty and bitter. The orange chicken was less than mediocre with a strange taste to it, and my Pad Thai was missing the depth of flavor I'm used to and love, and all the noodles were stuck together because they were overcooked. My wife picked up the order and said the restaurant was full, so maybe we just had the bad luck that night because the kitchen was so busy? I don't believe in posting negative reviews until I communicate with the restaurant, but I have not heard back so here's my copy and paste. I do not want to take away from the service and atmosphere, which wasn't applicable for a take out order, so 5-stars based on all my...
Read moreI absolutely love Chinese and sushi restaurants, and I have to say after visiting here, this is my new favorite Chinese restaurant and sushi spot. All of the food I ordered was absolutely phenomenal. I had the szechuan shrimp lunch special. It was the main dish, an egg roll and a side of the best fried rice I've ever eaten. All for under $10, what a deal! The fried rice had bits of tasty pork throughout. The egg roll was amazing, and the szechuan shrimp was one of the best Chinese dishes I ever had. They ask you how spicy you want it, I said very spicy, and it was so flavorful, and wasn't too crazy spicy where I couldn't eat it. I also had the meat wontons appetizer, which were phenomenal, and were less than $6 for 8 of them with a tasty sauce. They have a good selection of Asian and American beers, wines and sake. I had a root float, which was great. Siper friendly and quick service. Most of the customers there were talking with the sushi chef like they knew him personally. The prices are more than reasonable. They have a bar at the sushi counter, which is neat....
Read moreFantastic food if you seek Chinese food beyond the typical express Chinese food. We have been to Dragan Pearl twice and both times were fantastic. The wings are fried, crispy, and an amazing flavor as the wings are marinated before being cooked. The Dragon Pearl Pad Thai is a savory noodle dish with shrimp, chicken, and roast pork. The Singapore Mai Fun is a flavor explosion of the unexpected as I was tasting warm spices like a gingerbread sort of taste. The rice noodles, proteins, and veggies are tossed with the spice, Madras Curry was used after researching. The house fried rice is delicious if you want something safer but you'll need a box for half of it unless...
