RJ's Meats — Local services in Hudson

PRO: I'd move to Wisconsin just for them. In fact, I take almost a whole suitcase of meats every time I go to Los angels. (Security thinks its weird, but glad its not human. haha.) Everyone out there is in LOOOVVEEE with this butcher. Nobody is as creative with their sausage combos and flavors and they are. They have won countless awards and literally, the staff is extremely helpful. Please don't let the freeway take you any further. It may look like a tiny shop, but most products are MSG free so people like me can enjoy them with out a horrible reaction. Here's a photo dump of a sausage selection. Con: The only thing id want is venison that someone else killed and cleaned. That all they are lacking. Oh and don't make the Cardinal mistake of trying to shop on a Sunday here. Done that...

Even though another site would not consider this place because it has groceries in its name, this is a specialty store that is more concerned with their meats than anything else. They have won awards for their meats. I go for the sausage. They have all kinds and not just beef and chicken. They can get close to ten dollars a package but for the experience of trying different things it is worth it. They have two large meat counters so there is a lot of meat to choose from as well as some freezer space with their meats in it. is a store that has not put much in their decor so the look is outdated but they have some great meats. They also have a one of a kind meat vending machine so you can get their meats 24/7. This place is not far from the Twin...

Unfortunately, many products have questionable composition and cost-saving shortcuts at a premium price.

It might include:

MSG ( monosodium glutamate ) for that questionable umami flavor ( why would you need one for a quality meat, unless your meat is also of questionable supply)

Dextrose

Mustard Flour

Garlic powder

Sodium acetate, sodium diacetate ( apparently, cedar vinegar from democratic leaning Michigan and Washington is not acidic enough )

Sodium Phosphate ( good for growing flowers, relieving constipation, or in case you took too much viagra)

Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite (this way you can keep your batch of sausages for loooooong time, in case customers don’t...
