Rustic and Main made my dream engagement ring come true with an exceptional level of craftsmanship and service. I want to share my full story because I think it may help anyone considering a custom ring. A little about me: I’m a 3D fabrication lead at a curtain wall company in New York, with both undergraduate and graduate degrees in architecture. I also do some 3D modeling in Blender, and I always dreamed of designing my fiancĂ©e’s engagement ring myself. After several iterations, I was finally happy with my design. The challenge was that I had no idea how a ring like this could be fabricated. My model wasn’t to scale, I had only eyeballed the stone sizes, and the details were very intricate. I worried it might be too complicated or that casting wouldn’t capture everything. (See video of original 3D model) My first attempt with NYC jewelers: Before finding Rustic and Main, I tried local jewelers in New York City. I thought working locally would make things easier, but I was wrong. Appointments were hard to get, most jewelers charged for follow-ups, and I never had the chance to speak directly with a designer. Despite having detailed 3D models and renderings, I was told to “describe my design in the text box on their website.” I paid a $100 custom fee, but the results were disappointing—proportions were wrong, details were lost, and it felt outsourced. Even after sending a 7-page markup with references, the revisions looked no better. (See photos of renderings from local jeweler, photo 1) Finding Rustic and Main: While writing those comments, I came across Rustic and Main’s Laurel Ring on Pinterest, which inspired me to check out their website. I found out that they offered custom engagement rings as well. I reached out right away, attaching my design notes. (See screenshot of my markups, photo 2) Working with Deonte at Rustic and Main: Deonte, one of their designers, got back to me quickly. Unlike my NYC experience, I was able to talk directly with him over the phone. I sent him my 3D models, and he patiently answered all my questions. His professionalism, communication, and clear timeline gave me confidence. About three days later, he updated me that he was polishing the 3D design. Because of the complexity, it took longer, but to me that showed true dedication to quality. When I finally saw the rendering, I was amazed—the proportions and the detail levels were exactly what I had imagined. Most importantly, it was a design that could actually be fabricated. On the very same day, I also received a revision from the NYC jeweler, and there weren't much difference from the previous version. Rustic and Main’s work was on another level. (see renderings from Deonte, photo 3-6) Over the course of 7 days and more than 30 emails (mostly from my endless questions), Deonte refined the design and sent it off to casting. Two weeks later, he even sent me progress photos right after casting, before the stones were set. On August 1st, I received photos and a video of the finished ring, and it was one of the happiest days of my life. (see photographs of the actual ring from Rustic and Main, photo 7-9) The result: The ring arrived on August 4th, and I was speechless. On such a small ring (size 3.5), the amount of detail was incredible—so fine that my eyes could barely focus, yet everything was there. On August 29th, I proposed to my girlfriend, and she absolutely loves it. She looks at the ring constantly and has received countless compliments from friends and coworkers. (see photos of the ring when I received it, photo 10-13) (photos of the ring wore by my fiancĂ©e, photo 14) Final thoughts: Because of my background in design and fabrication, I hold very high standards for quality. Rustic and Main, and especially Deonte, exceeded my expectations in every aspect—from design communication to craftsmanship. I feel truly fortunate to have found them, and I recommend Rustic and Main to anyone, especially designers who want to bring their own ideas to life. Bonus: The whole process only took 1 month for me to received the ring!

I do not even know where to begin - Y’ALL! 10/10!! When my fiancĂ© and I started talking about what kind of wedding band he wanted, he decided he wanted something more personal and sentimental. He thought it would be cool to somehow incorporate sand from the restaurant we went to on our first date/same place we ended up getting engaged, a shell from a beach we went to on our first date, soil from our first home, and a rock from our wedding venue and making them into the ring. We had ideas about how it could look/work, and searched so hard to find a company that could bring this vision to life for us. Rustic & Main did just that! From the start, I called and spoke with Carolina who was SO helpful, informative, patient, and kind. She talked me through the process, went over all the options, was transparent with pricing, and then emailed me a list of everything we had discussed. When we placed our order, she double checked for us that everything looked right and ensured we would be getting exactly what we wanted. Phoebe was the craftsman that worked on our ring and we could not be more impressed with her work! The top layer of the ring is the sand, the middle layer is the rock and the shell, and the bottom layer is the soil. When we told them our ideas, they were confident they could make it work and make something unique and beautiful and they did just that! They truly can make your vision come to life and make super unique rings out of so many different items! I cannot say enough good things about this company - shop with them and trust them for one of the most sentimental, meaningful items in your life! You won’t regret it!! Thank you, Rustic & Main!! We will cherish this ring for forever!

Got married in September 2024, and my husband’s $700+ wedding band broke by January 2025, roughly 4 months later. This ring had 3 inlays and it was very clear that it must have been done incorrectly as the titanium ring which is supposed to be nearly unbreakable, cracked and bent right where the middle inlay was. When I called I was told that they have “run cars over the rings” to test durability and never had one break, no one else is having this issue so it must be an issue with my husbands everyday lifestyle and something he did was what broke it, so the warranty was void. Although my husbands job does include some manual work, there is nothing he does which would cause that kind of damage to what is supposed to be a well made titanium ring. He doesn’t deal with chemicals at all which would deteriorate the epoxy, he didn’t drop or squish his finger/ring with anything, nothing traumatic happened to break the ring. He randomly noticed the ring felt tight, and took it off to realize that it was oval and cracked, and because of that even some of the wood from the middle inlay fell out. We were told basically it’s not their fault and the best they can do is give us a discount on a replacement. No way were we going to buy another ring from them knowing the poor quality of the first one, so ultimately we are out $700+ with no wedding ring. Frustrating and disappointing especially because we live in NC and were happy to support a local small business; unfortunately that was a big mistake in this case. Unless your husband plans to sit the ring on the dresser and only wear on special occasions, expect that the ring will not last and look elsewhere for a better option.

Rustic and Main made my dream engagement ring come true with an exceptional level of craftsmanship and service. I want to share my full story because I think it may help anyone considering a custom ring.

Rustic and Main truly cares about their customers. An advertisement led me to their site in 2020, where I found the perfect wooden ring for my soon to be husband. I needed the ring before our wedding day. I received an email from the company explaining a possible delay (this was 2020, right when the pandemic was causing many issues). I emailed them back in response with a broken heart, worried that I would not receive it in time. They were extremely understanding and made SURE that we had the ring in time for the wedding, no extra charge. Their response time was extremely quick. I was also able to reach them over the phone when I had questions. Unfortunately, my husband's wooden ring was stolen the next year. 😞 I contacted the Rustic team to see if they had any used rings on sale until I could afford to buy him one similar to the one he originally had. The team went over options with me! They were SO helpful and made sure I was taken care of! I went with one of their leather rings for the time being and my husband fell in love with it! It is so comfortable to him. Unfortunately, the ring started to tear after time (AT NO FAULT TO THE COMPANY, just happened with time). I contacted the company, and once again they had options. Each and every time, they have made sure that we have been taken care of. I have NEVER dealt with any company that treats their customers like family to the extent that Rustic does. Every single team member is wonderful, hard working and considerate. I will never do business with any other company, even locally. I would rather wait on shipping, than to be treated like just another number from other companies. We are expecting our first child, so funds have been low but as soon as I am able to save up for another ring, I will be purchasing one of Rustic's perfect rings. The detail in each ring I've received from them has been outstanding. Each one has been comfortable and durable. The product is BETTER than you expect. They really are hand crafted and unique. I read a lot of reviews before I purchase from places, so if you trust in reviews to make a decision, please believe me when I say that I trust this company more than any other to take care of you. I can assure you that your satisfaction matters to them! You will love...
