Flow Style Ink — Local services in Huntsville

GROSSED OUT! Me and my two roommates got different ear piercings (I actually got two) for their $5 Wednesday special. They were nice enough I suppose (not super welcoming, but I chalk that up to the pretentious tattoo artist attitude I tend to see in places like this), and I don't remember who I had, but myself and one of my roommates had the same guy, and my other roommate had a different piercer. They both told us they were using surgical steel, which works with my skin sensitivities, so I was happy about that.

My ears swelled up almost immediately, as did BOTH of my roommates'! When I got home, I realized that the rook was almost to the edge of my ear, and asked my sister (who has two rook piercings) what she thought. She immediately said that it should have been a lot further back, and told me to take it out so I can let it heal ASAP. I did, and it felt better within 15 minutes. What a bummer.

The cartilage piercing that remained was getting really red and painful by the third day, so I went to Walmart and got a cheap stud that was labeled as surgical steel. I put it in on the fourth morning, and it was so much better! The hole was crusty and seeping still on the fifth day, but felt much better and was healing after a week. I told my roommates what I did because they were dealing with the same thing, and their ears started healing soon after they removed the earrings that Flow Style Ink used. It seems that cleanliness, REAL stainless steel, honesty and precision are not things you will find at Flow Style Ink. It really grossed me out that we all got piercing infections, so I think I will fork over a few extra bucks to get it done correctly and safely elsewhere. You have...

I’ve gotten 5 piercings from here (the $5 ones on wednesdays) and they all healed perfectly!! my only qualm is that the jewelry i got for my septum was kinda small, but it was no big deal because once it healed i changed the jewelry. i even had some friends almost pass out when they got their piercings done and the staff brought them popsicles 😂

i see a lot of people complaining about the ball falling out, but i did not have that experience with any of my piercings from here. i’m also wise enough to know that the balls fall out ALL the time, so i have a baggie full of them just in case.

i also have a group of friends that got piercings here and i think the only ones they had issues with were nipple piercings. they eventually took them out and let them close up. they got them re-pierced somewhere else and had the same issue so i doubt it was an issue with the Flow...

WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE . I went and got 3 small tattoos on my fingers in red ink about a month ago .. which I was charged 80$ for (I also tipped 20$) . Everything was fine until two weeks later (after I got the tattoo) the tattoo healed and peeled (like normal tattoos do) , but when it peeled the ink literally came off ! The 80$ tattoo I received is now just something like a smudge of ink on my fingers ! Now , the guy did tell me that finger tattoos were more susceptible to fade (and mine was in red ink) , but this is unacceptable .
