I went in today about 10:30 to get my wife a couple of boxes of High Noon’s. Since I have been visiting this store for what seems like 20+ years, I knew exactly where they were (in the cooler inside the door). However, I didn’t want to get any boxes out of the cooler because I didn’t want the staff to have to restock the cooler. I looked around for shelves boxes, but was unable to find any. I was the only person in the store. The guy behind the counter didn’t offer any help. So, I approached him. This was where the one star review comes in. I think I woke him up. He was slumped over the counter, unshaven, mumbling, hoodie pulled over his head. I asked him if he had any high noons not in the cooler. He refused to make eye contact and his demeanor and body language told me that I had royally pissed him off by even asking. He waved his arms around and mumbled something I couldn’t understand. I told him I didn’t want him to have to restock the cooler if I got several out of there. I guess I pissed him off more by speaking to him twice, because he was super pissed after that. Started waving his arms around again and mumbled a little louder. I told him nevermind, I’ll go somewhere else and left immediately. Let me make it clear, in all my travels, in all the businesses I’ve been in in my lifetime, NEVER have I ever been more disrespected! Ever! This guy truly scared me. When I left, my heart was racing. It was 48 degrees outside and I broke out into a sweat. I’ve been a cop and a paramedic most all my life and this dude truly scared me with his demeanor. I am not sensitive by any stretch of the imagination. I don’t want this to fall sour onto the owners, because they are good people and I know that they would never stand for this behavior by an employee. But, I am saying, I’ll not be back to Wagon Wheel, at least until I’m reassured that this guy is no longer there. I’m actually a bit scared for the safety of anyone who comes...
Read moreAwesome place, definitely my go to alcohol store. Everyone that works there is as cool, friendly, and knowledgeable as possible. They have a huge selection and if they don't have that specialty beer/liquor your looking for, they'll for sure do whatever they can to attempt to get it for you. They also keep a big selection of local/regional craft beers on tap, so you can bring home a fresh jug of some straight...
Read moreThe staff is very nice. A bit pricey compared to the other liquor stores. Very limited selection of tequila and some other spirits. Great beer selection. Parking is limited, if its busy you'll have to wait for a spot. Overall it's kept clean and organized, I wish they carried a larger selection of...
