First off I was sitting in my car for about 10-15 mins waiting for my “pick up order” Since I had somewhere to be I went ahead and went into the store to try and pick up my order. I went to the cashier to explain I was there for my order and both the cashier and security officer told me there were no more orders. That all orders are filled for the day. They told me I must have the wrong location. So I asked for the address and sure enough I had the correct address. So I tried explaining that I ordered it last night. The security officer definitely didn’t know what he was talking about. He definitely should just stick to being a security officer 🤣He tried to tell me that wasn’t enough time for me to make the order and pick it up. While I’m standing there getting texts about my order. This cashier and security officer never bothered to go look or nothing. They were very unprofessional and sloppy! They didn’t represent Aldi good at all! They tried to make me feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about 🤦🏾♀️. Then this lady comes from the back of the store and states she will go check the orders and found my order! SMH! Turns out I did know what I was talking about. I don’t agree with the phrase “The customer is always right” but if a customer is standing in front of you with proof that they had an order at least have the common decency to go check! Either you all are a bunch of liars...
Read moreThere is virtually no reason not to shop at Aldi. The cashier's are extremely fast, friendly, and will do whatever they can to resolve your issue, often times swaping out or giving you your item for no charge if you find an issue with a product. Everything is also cheaper, if not competitively priced with all other competition. They also tend to carry a wide assortment of products to suit all allergies and diets considering how small they are compared to their competition. The one downside is, if you find you don't like say...their frozen pizza, they only carry the one brand, so you'll have to go elsewhere for that product as they're mostly limited to 1-3 brands per product (Usually a regular, premium, and organic brand). You also have to bag your own groceries, bags cost extra, and carts require a quarter deposit to use. But this is no problem as A) you can bag your groceries the right way and get out at your own pace (you would be bagging your own groceries in a Walmart self check out anyway) B) Carry an "Aldi quarter" in your car for cart use and C) make use of reusable bags that help the enviroment by lowering our plastic use. No excuse not to, people practically give them away for...
Read moreThe security guard at this location was EXTREMELY RUDE to me today. I was sitting in my car out of the way close to the building. He literally didn’t approach me in the car. He just stood in front of my car and aggressively pointed to a parking spot and mouthed the word “now”. I said ok. And his eyes were filled with anger. All I could think to myself was why didn’t he just kindly come to my window and ask me to move. So a car pulled into the spot he pulled in but didn’t see them and so I pointed at the spot like I can’t go there now. I went forward and then changed my mind to go backwards. Put my car in reverse and he just stood in the way. So I just waited with my reverse lights on. I backed into the spot finally. I needed to stay on that side of the building because I communicated with my elderly aunt that’s the side I would be on. I just don’t understand why he had to be so aggressive and rude.
Also there are never enough cashiers at this location. Stockers should be cross trained because there’s always people stocking while...
