Susan, the store manager is an atrocious person. My SA Genevieve was helping my husband and I select coats and accessories. I want to preface this by stating Genevieve is a doll. She helps us almost exclusively when we come in and she remembers our names, she is the sweetest soul. She gives top notch service! Back to Susan… I needed my coat before a trip to Colorado, unfortunately they didn’t have my size in stock. Genevieve offered to find it in another store and have it shipped to me. My husband found what he needed so we were purchasing his coat, 2 scarves and leather gloves from Genevieve. During our transaction Susan comes over and begins yelling at Genevieve for calling another store to find my coat. I immediately intervene and tell Susan that she needed to stop being so rude that we are in the middle of a transaction. Susan then began to tell me in the rudest tone that Genevieve shouldn’t call another store because they are going to lose the sale. I explained to her that she was being extremely disrespectful to myself and Genevieve, I asked her for her name and she refused to give it to me multiple times, finally she said “Susan and I’m the store manager” in which I replied “well that’s unfortunate” first, I was so embarrassed and felt so bad for Genevieve that I had no choice but to speak up and advocate for her, it was clear she was afraid to advocate for herself. Second, for the manager to treat a long standing customer the way she did she should not be working in retail. We finished my transaction and in normal fashion I get the best hugs from Genevieve! I ordered a made-to-measure suit from Brooks Brothers, expecting a high level of craftsmanship, fit, and service given the brand’s heritage and price point. Unfortunately, the entire experience was deeply disappointing.

From the beginning, communication was inconsistent and timelines were vague. What was initially supposed to take a few weeks turned into nearly six months. Every step of the process felt disorganized, with little transparency or urgency from the staff. I had to follow up multiple times just to get updates, which was frustrating and time-consuming.

When the suit finally arrived, I was shocked at how underwhelming it was. The fit was mediocre—not what you’d expect from a made-to-measure garment. The jacket felt boxy, the shoulders were off, and the pants needed further tailoring. The overall construction lacked the refinement and attention to detail I had hoped for. At best, it looked like an off-the-rack suit that had been lightly adjusted.

After months of waiting and a significant financial investment, I was left with something that didn’t meet even basic expectations. In love with this store. The clothing for women is absolutely perfect! They make you look classic and very elegant! I got my graduation dress there and I absolutely loved it!! The only thing I didn’t like was the feeling of the zipper, felt dull and cheap.
