DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!

I joined and regretted it. Have looked at direct buy each time ive made a purchase since joining and havent bought the first thing there. Selection is limited, very limited in some cases, and prices are barely, if at all lower than can be found at other sites on the internet. Even if the initial price seems lower, the difference is eaten up by "fees" the local affiliate imposes on every purchase so it would be a very rare case when the extremely high "membership fee" would be recouped and a gain realized.

Then they add insult to injury and make you wait much longer to get your product than other sites. I base this last statement on their own published shipping times, as i havent used them once since joining, and have made several purchases in that time period period.

I fell victim to their slick sales presentation and since they tell you its join that evening or never be invited back didnt get that important time to think about it as we all should with major purchases such as this. Its very much a no brainer that I should have not walked but RAN when the presentation was over, but I did not so am now living with he fact that I turned over a large amount of money that I could have lit on fire and received the same benefit from .

I did try to cancel after i had initially joined the evening of the presentation but was unable to, so please dont make the same mistake I did. ITS ONLY A GOOD DEAL FOR THEM AND NOT...

My wife and I had just bought our new home and the first purchase was to be a washer and dryer. Since this was something my wife wanted right away, we went to a national store to purchase and have delivered as soon as possible. After 2 weeks of faulty machines being delivered to the home and terrible customer service we returned the washer and dryer and went to DirectBuy. This was our first time going through DirectBuy and after the nightmare experience with the National store, we weren't sure what to expect. Tom was amazing! He listened to our horror story we had just experienced and was very patient with us as we carefully selected a washer and dryer. In our research, we found a local store offering the washer and dryer we wanted to purchase through DirectBuy at a lower price. We called Tom right away and he walked us through the process of submitting the claim. Not only did DirectBuy meet the sale price we found, they beat it! We were thrilled beyond belief! Tom was friendly and always available to answer a question. As we continue to make purchases for our new home we will go to DirectBuy and speak with Tom...

Purchased membership 12 years ago. Never was able to use one time. Big time scam!!! Save your money people! Before we sign for membership it was like they had anything and everything. Then after deal was signed over the next five years. They couldn't get anything any cheaper than what I could get right here in my hometown after paying a $5,000 membership fee. Perfect example I was needing to buy hardwood for my whole main floor house. That I was able to get $0.75 a square foot cheaper right at my local store.
