I have been to this salon about 6 to 7 times now. I have had a great experience every time with everyone accept one individual. This person is at station 2, next to the wonderful owner. I have gotten him 3 times and every single time I have left upset. First time, he rushed my nails so quickly that the speed of the drill burned every single one of my fingers, the nails were unfinished and had acrylic caked up on the back of the nail where he just let it run over and cure that way. The second time was a simple color change the day after i had just gotten them done (had gotten green and couldnt take it), he left the previous color on the edges of the nail and charged me $30. Then today, I left so mad that I will never return (photos attached are from this service). He once again repeatedly burnt my nails over and over again, he didn't remove all of the previous red paint and when I said I wanted the previous paint completely removed he shook his head and spoke to his colleagues in another language. I am someone who wants to make things easy and speaking up was very hard for me. His response hurt my feelings so I literally just sat there and cried to myself wishing the service would just end so I could leave. I had wanted a black french with a sparkly bottom, and because he failed to remove all the paint you could see the red peaking through the bottom. He had to do 3 coats just to cover it up and it's still visible on my thumb. Then he did the tip free-handed with no clean up and the lines aren't cinched at the ends. I have gotten my nails done every 2-3 weeks for eighteen years, and I have been to several different salons across the state and I have never in my life had such terrible service. I truly like the owners and they have great customer service but this one tech has ruined this salon for me. He needs additional training - at minimum - education with the drill, burning clients fingers is not...
Read moreI walked in for a fill on acrylics they told me I would have to wait a bit which was not a problem, I was willing to wait. I waited about 30-45 minutes, I had showed one girl what I wanted and that I did not want gel. She was cool with it, I believe she said she was the owner. Another tech ended up bringing me to his station for the fill. Most unprofessional tech I have ever encountered. He never asked what I wanted. He didn't trim any length or ask if I wanted it. He had the drill turned up so high for the fill to go faster it was physically hurting and burning my nails. I told him it was hurting and pulled my hands away but he kept pulling them back to him. When it got to the painting part of my nails I showed him the design I wanted (a simple white cross nothing crazy) on black nails. He picked a random shade of black that has a weird hue to it. Never asked if looked ok, if I liked it he just painted them all quickly before I even had a chance to look at it. Once the black was on he told me they didn't do designs on regular polish only gel because if he messed up he would have to repaint the nail. Am I not paying for that service? It's one nail! Told me no, it's too much work, he won't do it. Why wait until the very end of the fill to tell me this, not to mention the first lady who was going to do them didn't have any problem with it. If he had been upfront I would have chosen a different color and scrapped the design idea. Wouldn't have been a problem but tell me BEFOREHAND. Another tech said she would do the design for an extra $5. While she was doing this the tech I had had packed his bags and was walking out the door. All this told me was he wanted quick extra money before leaving and therefore gave me a lazy and litterally...
Read moreWorst manicure I’ve ever had. I asked the tech to just file, not clip, and she immediately picked up the clippers and cut one nail so short that I told her to do all the others so they’d match. I asked for rounded tips and she gave me square. To fix that my nails ended up even shorter. Then when she started painting them, the polish ended so far above my nail beds that it looked like a week and a half of growth. I asked her to fix it three times and by the end I was so frustrated I just wanted to get out of there. My nails are lumpy from all the attempts to add more polish, they’re noticeably higher at the left side of each nail than the right, and for some reason one hand is matte and the other is shiny. Seriously so disappointing and every time I look at my hands I’m upset. It looks like my nails were...
