I am a huge WAWA fan living a few years in the east coast. This location was clean, nicely organized, and had a good layout. Its not a huge location inside, but plenty of gas spots. Inside there are a few ordering kiosks, no wait. People are pretty good about placing their orders quickly. If you havent been to a WAWA, it's pretty simple. You can walk around and pickup stuff off the shelves like a normal gas station or you can have the make you a sandwich, hot item, or beverage. Its completely customizable on the monitor. Take your time, order it exactly how you want it. Hit finish and they will be building it shortly. You can go pay while you wait or you can wait and then pay. They have a lot of great sandwich options that are all quite tasty. I will note this location doesnt have outside seating. A lot of the locations I have been to do. So that is one downside. But other than that, I am happy with it. You can make your own coffee or go to the kiosk to get one of their customizable drinks. They have icee machines and those Cocoa machines where you can customize your drink. A lot of options here. Something for everyone. Plus, clean bathrooms. This location is new, so let's see how long all this...
Read moreExtremely Unprofessional Behavior from Night Shift Employee
I recently witnessed very disrespectful and unprofessional behavior from an older night-shift employee named Stacy toward a 17-year-old team member. I overheard her speaking inappropriately to him, and from what I gathered, he reported it. However, when I returned a few days later, other customers said she had been openly talking about the situation to them — which is completely unacceptable.
What’s worse is that management has done nothing about it. This shows a serious lack of concern for how younger employees are treated. A company that allows staff to use inappropriate language and gossip about workplace issues to customers does not reflect well on its values.
Additionally, staff should arrive on time for their shifts instead of expecting others — especially younger employees — to stay late because someone doesn’t want to get out of the break room.
I hope corporate reviews this incident seriously, because the way this location handles staff conduct and professionalism needs major...
Read moreIf you have never been to a Wawa gas station before, like me, they need to have a better flow so you know what to do to get your order. So I walked in and no instructions on how to order. A person would think that the kiosk to order food or a drink would be at the front of the store…unfortunately not. I walked up to the beverage station and no one says anything until I ask and she says order at the kiosk. So I head over to the kiosk I have my receipt but nothing on the screen or receipt to tell you where to go next. I had to ask a stranger what I need to do next and she said go pay and then they will make your drink. The flow was just off it should first be the kiosks, then the cash registers and then the stop for food and beverage. It was a good...
