This rating is for the pharmacy. I have decided to NEVER get my prescriptions filled here ever again. The pharmacy staff is unfriendly and extremely unhelpful.
Called the pharmacy to have them tell me that my doctor's office never sent over my prescription. This was a complete lie. My doctor's office had received confirmation the previous day from Meijer about receiving my prescription. I called back the following week due my doctor's office being closed on the weekend. The doctor's office confirmed that the had sent and received the confirmation from Meijer. I proceed to call Meijer again and have a extremely rude pharmacy tech tell me that they don't carry what was prescribed. Okay, how about a courtesy phone call to let me know instead of lying about not receiving it? I proceed to find another pharmacy that will fill my prescription. The Meijer pharmacy tech was also no help what so ever in that area. I was told "that we can not help you locate a pharmacy because we would have to be calling other pharmacies all day and we just don't do that." I would think that pharmacies would have some kind of idea where to send a customer if they didn't carry a certain prescription. Once again the Meijer pharmacy lied about not having my prescription when a separate pharmacy called to have it transferred. All in all this entire situation has left a bad taste in my mouth about the Southport Road Meijer Pharmacy. Granted they could probably give two sh*ts due to the fact that I am but one person however I will be telling everyone I know. You know what they say bad publicity travels...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis pharmacy is ridiculous! First, they get rid of their app making refills annoyingly over complicated! You go online to fill a medication and it fills in 2 business days! Seriously! My medications canāt be filled until they are gone and are monitored that way. Secondly, when you do try to fill a medication and show up to pick it up, itās never done! I go to pick up my medication and I was told I had to wait for 45 mins for the people in front of me even though I had requested it hours in advance and I am the only person in the drive thru! I worked in a pharmacy (Walgreens back when bg st Francis was around) and it was insanely busy! We could easily bump someoneās fill around others if they were standing in the pharmacy! It doesnāt take 45 mins to pull a bottle, count, verify, and bag a refill request! Also, to that, they told me it once when I was in the waiting area coughing up my lungs and feverish, and then forgot who I was so I waited even longer! Idk why it is so hard to do this!! Target CVS across the street is always on top of it!! Unfortunately, I canāt go there to get the medication that I take because theyāre on backorder with CVS for some reason. I donāt know why Meijer black so much...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy husband called to have his prescription that was sent to the wrong location transferred to the correct location on Southport rd when the first tech Emily was EXTREMELY rude. She berated my husband about how he had already picked up the prescription and that he could not get it for another 30 days. I tried to explain what he was trying to explain to her and she gave us complete attitude. The tone she was taking with him and myself were completely disrespectful and unwarranted. To make matters worse she had him on hold for 15 min at least. Thank God another tech picked up our call and said there was no issue with my husband's prescription and he could pick it up in an hour. Emily needs to work in the back because she has a personality for boxes...
