Edit: I want to add an update to this review. Originally I gave this 1 star, and you can see the original review below. However, the owner of the business contacted me directly to try and resolve the issue. He was very kind. He is very invested in finding reasons behind the problems and ways to fix them. The wings not having sauce on them was actually an issue with the third party online ordering system. On my end, I ordered wings with sauce, but in the ticket that prints to the kitchen, there is no sauce listed (he sent me the picture, though I believed him anyway). The third party site has actually refunded my money because of that. Mike seems like her really cares about fixing the issues. He has offered multiple ways to fix the problem and to give me and my coworkers a positive experience at this business. As of yet we have not been able to take him up on his offer, but that is on our end, not his. It is rare to find a business that is actually interested in correcting issues. His response means a lot and shows the integrity of both Mike and his business.
Save your money! If I could give 0 stars I would. My coworkers and I frequented this place about a year ago. The food is good, however, when you order food for pickup it is NEVER correct. Every time we have ordered food it has been made wrong. At first I assumed it was because I usually special order things, so I ordered a burger as is, nothing special about it. It was still wrong. I've ordered and then called to talk about the order, and it is still wrong. One coworker has ordered the cheesecake 3 separate times. He has never gotten a cheesecake. The first time they forgot. The second time it was supposed to be free, but they ran out so they gave him a brownie instead. The next time he ordered it and paid again, and they forgot again. I chalked it up to the online ordering system. But then my husband and I went in, and they messed up both of our orders. Service is also terribly slow. So, we decided to take a break. Today it sounded good and I thought I would give it a try. Put in an online order. Unfortunately they do not have their sides on the online order form. I ordered my wings, and tried to call to place an order for the loaded sweet potato fries. But the line was busy. I had done a delayed order and I continued to call for an hour, it was busy every time. I even sent an email letting them know I was trying to reach them and getting a busy signal. My coworker picks up the food (without the side as I was never able to order it) and when I open it at the office it is wrong. I ordered boneless wings with stinging honey garlic sauce......I received plain wings with no sauce, no rub, just friend chicken bites. I am so disappointed. Read moreTried this place again. Worse than last review. Friends food took 30 minutes. It’s was a Philly Cheesesteak & Tots with a Regular Pepsi/Coke. Our server Natalie brought her a diet drink & it took forever to get a corrected drink. Her food came out cold & with waffle fries instead of tots. They said they would fix her tots. She decided to forgo eating due to the repeated lack of concern for the customer.
The manager comes over and wants to know what the problem was with the food. Keep in mind this is not the first time we have had horrible service here. We explained what was wrong with the food. Said manager proceeds with the excuses & questions we have heard in the past. It was like dejavu.
Manager- Do you always come at the same time? We are really busy at this time. Customer- Well we come at different times & days. We receive the same customer service.
Manager - Well, our kitchen is really small and we are trying to work out our issues. We are just so busy at this time.
Customer - Well, again these are the same types of issues that we have had over the course of a year and a half. Tried to give you one more chance. These issues are the same with the same excuses we hear every time.
My bill comes and the $8.99 special was on my bill for $9.99. A dollar might not be a lot to some people but think about how many dollars add up in their till at the end of a busy night. Waitress has attitude when getting bill fixed.
I am usually very generous to my server even if the kitchen sucks. Needless to say, not this time. Attitudes & lack of customer service skills get $0.
Please note: A restaurant with the right management & staff can produce great quality food & provide great service. No excuses!
First review: The service is medico really at best. Even if they aren’t busy. If they are busy, you can forget about getting your food quickly. I believe that some of the people in our party sat there for over 45 minutes waiting on their food when some of the other people in our party had already gotten their food. The excuse was that they only had three people in the kitchen. This is not a big place three people should be able to run the kitchen if they know what they’re doing. The wait staff needs to be trained on how to handle customers. I wasn't even offered a drink until I had to call over server. The food was mediocre at best. I would not recommend anyone going to this establishment and lash do you like mediocre food and horrible service.
We had at least 10 people in our party. We came in at different times, but a good server would know what to do with that type of situation. If you are just going for drinks, this might be a place to go. But then again, they were out of Bailey's Irish...
Read moreWow! I didn't want to write a review....I have no choice. Let me start by saying, I am overseeing a four year class reunion for my high school not far from Whiskey Business. To sell tickets, for almost a year now, I've had "bar night" usually twice a month at different bars. I was excited for this bar, and my very first time, was awesome. It was a Friday night, packed, but service was fantastic. Since then, I've taken bar night to Whiskey Business about 5 or 6 times now, because I like the location. Mind you, there are times I have several people coming in, eating, drinking. Except for the one time, this service is absolutely horrible. Without fail, and after last night, will look elsewhere for bar nights. Along with myself, two other people ordered the same time as me. I received my food first. Ad more people came to my table to eat, others were now getting their food, while the other original two waited and waited. One finally received his once I was done, and others at the table were finishing up. However, the other person, didn't get hers. She was told her food went to another table, they would still give her the food and not be charged. She did get the food, but had her food and drink on her bill. She had to request they remove it. She originally said not to even make the food, they refused and said they would still get it for her and not charge her. A second person came in a little later, but the same thing. She waited over an hour for her food, and just had them box it up. The service is bad and needs to be fixed. The thing is, I can potentially bring in a good amount of people with this, but I would rather go somewhere we are taken care of. Not here. I've exhausted the chances and gave them the benefit of the doubt one...
