I am very disappointed in La-Z-Boy. This use to be a very reputable place to shop and had great quality furniture. I purchased a five piece sectional back in the spring of this year and had it customized to what I wanted and I spent cash on 7k. The first red flag was that I purchased it in the spring and it didn't come till August second red flag is when they delivered my furniture they scrapped my wall setting it in my home. Lazy Boy does outside contracting for there delivery and when I called about and told them they said there delivery guys said they didn't do that, I had remolding my whole downstairs and all walls were painted and spotless so you lied about not doing it. It took them about two months to send me a check for the damage they kept saying they mailed the checks but for some reason I wasn't getting them and finally it made it. Last month I noticed at the end of my couch the recliner part was sagging and uncomfortable and making a screeching noise. I called in to have someone come look at it, when the young man came out and I explained to him what was going on he said oh nothing was wrong I was confused because clearly he wasn't paying any attention to me. This month I was sitting in it and I heard something go crack pop and I looked behind the couch and pieces where on the floor I am small framed person and there is know way it should of broken. I called again for someone to come out I explained to the technician about the first guy and he said he no longer works with the company anymore. He saw where it had broken and ordered the piece for it and they were scheduled to come out today between 2pm and 5pm I just so happened to call at 4:30pm to see what is there ETA and she said oh he's not coming he had and emergency. Are you kidding me when was you gonna inform me she said oh it just happened. With all this being said I will never again shop here I won't even by a lamp, light bulb, candle etc for them. They are poor quality I should of saved some money and shopped at Value City furniture are Ashley furniture if I would of knew the poor quality I was getting. And I can't even get my money back from this furniture because it was custom-made. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SHOP HERE. Signed...
   Read moreIf I remember right the lady that sold me my chair her name was Patrice. She was absolutely positively amazing!! I have a lot of health problems as a matter of fact I've had my current La-Z-Boy recliner for about 8 years now and over the course of that 8 years I've had 9 brain surgeries and spinal cord and surgery so for the last 4 years I've lived in my chair! When I say lived in my chair I mean that in every way it has been my bed what I sleep in and sit in during the day because I'm unable to work. Along with me I have an over the weight miniature dachshund who to be either in my lap or laying in the foot rest so to have an extra 15 lb weighing down the foot rest for 8 years absolutely shows how amazing La-Z-Boy furniture holds up and withstands just about anything you put it through! Well I could go on forever but I'm sure whoever is reading this doesn't want to read a novel lol! I just cannot thank you all enough for making my painful life a little easier with your amazing product! Along with that I don't know what could happen with just my words but Cheryl at the Greenwood Indiana furniture store made my night when we went in to buy my new chair! I had a horrific day And my dad and I actually had just been at my neurosurgeon that day I didn't feel like stopping to even look at chairs which my AMAZING DADDY What's going to buy me for my birthday and Christmas present combo this year. I am so glad that we did because Cheryl helped me find my new recliner and her kind words and hug gave me back a lot of emotional and spiritual support along with my new La-Z-Boy recliner!!...
   Read moreWe have bought Lazy Boy furniture for years. We had always been happy with the qualityâŠ..until our most recent purchase in 3/2020. We have been very disappointed with the quality and wear and tear of our recliner sectional as well as our traditional sectional. The fabric has prematurely worn down, and the sectional comes disconnected very easily. We have also had to have two warranty repairs for the frame breaking on our traditional sectional. Whatâs worse is that today was the second time I had one of their repairmen no call/no show for a warranty repair that I had to prepay for the labor costs. I rearranged my day, only to be called at the end of the day to let me know the repairman did not come to work today.
Poor quality, poor customer service. We will not purchase from Lazy Boy again and I would not recommend them to anyone else.**
EDIT TO ADD MOST RECENT EXPERIENCE after I left the above review I was contacted by Lazy Boy and they refunded my repair cost. I was able to reschedule for 12/19 so my couch would be repaired before our holiday gatherings. Again - a no call no show. I called their service department once my repair time passed and was told that the repair person had called in sick. It was another day I spent at home waiting. We were rescheduled for service today between 2:30 and 5. After that service window passed I received a call apologizing that they were running behind and wouldnât make it out. I hold true to my above rating. I will never purchase anything from Lazy Boy again. I will never recommend them. I would leave a zero star...
