GREEN FUNGUS, NO SANITATION IN BETWEEN PEDICURES: STOP CALLING AND HARASSING ME!!! YOU ALL HAVE CALLED ME FROM 4 DIFFERENT NUMBERS ASKING I TAKE MY REVIEW DOWN— NO!!!!!! TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY AND STOP CALLING ME FROM VARIOUS NUMBERS!!!!!!!! PURE UNPROFESSIONALISM! LEAVE ME ALONE!!!
I had recently made this nail salon my go-to considering the reviews, how nice it looked on the inside and the customer service provided. However, this past week when I went to get a fill-in (my second one with them since they put on my full set a couple of weeks prior, I notice what I thought was bruising on my nail. The nail tech cuts my nail down to what we discover is FUNGUS. It’s green. It’s hideous, and I’m freaking out. The manager (I assume) tells me this can happen if there is moisture under the nail… but mind you, 1. Why would there be moisture trapped under my nail and create a fungus, that quickly?? I began researching and ALSO FOUND that fungus on the nail could come from the usage of DIRTY tools.
They attempt to put acrylic BACK on my nail. I refuse and request dip. It literally took FIVE coats of SNS dip to cover the GREEN FUNGUS on my fingernail. Fast forward, I get my feet done shortly afterwards. The woman beside me gets up, they drain her water from her pedicure, and then begin filling the foot tub back up. They call another lady back, she sits in this same spot, puts her feet in, and they begin her pedicure. At this point, I am DISGUSTED. They DID NOT change the shower cap placed in the tub when it became the next person’s turn!!!!
I wrote all of my concerns in a review, to be offered 10% off my next service. I think not. Absolutely not. I have fungus on my nails and you all don’t sanitize in between clients— at least you didn’t that time. No thanks. No excuses.
Though they apologized, I felt it was only right to be honest about my experience. I will not be returning.
*EDITED IN RESPONSE TO THE RESPONSE WRITTEN
To recommend nail health and hygiene after GIVING ME a fungus is beyond me. I didn’t have a fungus before I came to you all with my natural nail, but I left with one. Secondly, you DID NOT call me initially to address the issue, I CALLED YOU. You decided it was professional to call me to address this review— it wasn’t, so you got hung up on. I never asked for more than 10%, I said I didn’t want it. If it wasn’t your fault, why would you offer me a discount? Make it make sense. Why would I return to a place that I witnessed did not have sanitary measures that ultimately resulted in me growing a fungus? My review is MY OPINION, just like all the other reviews listed. It was honest. You should be honest with your customers. You actually thanked me for telling you all in my first review, so how are you denying the claims now? You didn’t think I’d write a google review, but here we are. :) Anyways, like I mentioned earlier, I won’t be returning and good luck to the...
Read moreI arrived without a reservation and once I signed in onto their touch screen I was immediately led to a pedicure chair. Staff was attentive and welcoming but my pedicurist kept insisting to choose her next time I was there, over and over from beginning of pedicure till end. It was vey uncomfortable so I decided to put my AirPods on to listen to music so I could relax only to keep taking them off every two minutes because she kept talking to me about her name and to request her… I also requested my nails to be filed down keeping the squared shape I had and she proceeded to file my nails in a round shape, although I kept mentioning I wanted straight before proceeding to each and every toe nail. She filed them so short that they could not be reshaped. After my pedicure was done I was quickly transferred to a manicurist for acrylic nail application. As soon as he glued the nails I mentioned they looked crooked but was told that he was beginning his work and to wait. After two hours of insisting and him trying to file them to look straight I was switched to another manicurist. She was not succeeding and I kept mentioning it until she said it was my perspective. By then I had been in the salon for almost four hours, I did not have more time since I was catching a flight that same day and I had never received such long service at other salons so didn’t plan for that. The staff is nice and they’re good hardworking people, I believe they just need more training and practice. I have attached a picture I showed staff of what I wanted and pictures of now that my nails are overgrown and it’s clearer to Agee my natural nail direction in relation to...
Read moreM not one to give bad reviews but this is the worse place I have ever been. I was there with my bf yesterday to get a pedicure n got 50 minutes service which cost $50. They were so rushing, talking each other the whole time, didn’t give proper massage n my bf got the whole pedicure done before 30minutes even though we paid for 50minutes service. The worse is I told the guys that did my pedi that I have a little ingrown n he started clipping it the side of my big toe n instead of pulling it out, he started peeling back off which the nails never ends went all the way back of my nails. I told him to stop cuz it hurts n he not supposed to do that. Then, the other side of the big toe, he start cutting it so deep that it’s kinda give my big toe a coffin shape but that’s not the problem… but he didn’t tried to get the ingrown at all, he clip it from the middle of the toe nails instead of cutting it from the end… WORSE THING, the next morning around 5/6am, the side he peeled back off of my toes was sore and hurting n aching so bad that woke me up from my sleep, I did take Ibuprofen to help the pain cuz I couldn’t put my feel down to walk normal… they didn’t give a good massage, they massage like they been starving for days that they have no energy 🤦♀️. The worse $120 that...
