Rent-A-Center — Local services in Indianapolis

After my current rent to own contract is up I will never purchase from rent a center again. Paid off two items and on this last contract I was missing an item from the set. I was told the day of delivery by the store manager; the missing item would be ordered and to be patient. I waited for 3 months, contacted the manager and was told he never spoke to me and basically told me I was lying. He then proceeded to tell me that it was not his fault and he would try to order it, but it may be on back order. I’m not too happy with that kind of customer service. It’s ridiculous and the smugness of his tone was very disrespectful. I’m not sure if he forgot, or thought I would forget about an item missing from the set I am paying for but I’m not. Definitely do not recommend this location! Placed 3 orders all were canceled and refunded without any contact. I reached out to them multiple times and was always told “I’ll look into this miss brown and I’ll get back with you” .. I never received a call back because he “got to busy and it slipped his mind”. My final straw was with my last order I was told on electronics I would have to pay half of the total upfront before I could receive my item I immediately knew that was bull. Then I ordered a tv within my budget and I was told that there basically shouldn’t be any tv that I could afford with my limit (even though there was one and I had already placed a order for it).. I then re made my account and changed my store to the Noblesville location, placed my order Sunday and received it today with no issue...

We rent a fridge from here never missed a payment . At the end of our agreement people were harrasing us with what they call , benefits plus and insurance I guess is one of those things that they do to make you pay more. Anyhow I just paid off my fridge with them with LAMAR and not only he was so unprofessional in the phone but denied me a receipt of my paid off and no receipt whatsoever sent to your email. I will never will do business with this people they are the worst and they curse over the phone . They should be out of business. It’s a shame , that a person that is in charge of this , don’t know any information when they send their drivers to charge you at your door .
