Edit: . You absolutely did challenge the dispute, and you even sent the bank screenshots of our conversation in a poor effort to spin the story in your favor. Way to further prove to me and anyone that sees this how this business really is
This was in Feb but I was waiting for the bank to process the dispute before i left my review. I had to file a credit dispute with the bank against this business because they couldn't put a simple alarm in my car and refused to get me back on the schedule to complete the job. Complete story below, but the shorthand is this business has no problem lying to you, the bank, they were rude to me and another customer in front of me, I'm sure he's going to reply to this with spin like they do to other negative reviews. This shop also bribes people for good reviews with a discount. attached is a pic of one of their business cards
They installed the alarm but after the initial install of the security system the owner told me I needed 2 doorlock actuators (when I really only needed 1 and the charged me for replacing 2). I bring them the new parts on Tuesday and I'm there waiting for hours for something that was supposed to be quick. Finally they finish up right before closing, but it fails as soon as i tried to use the security system then I take it back to the shop. The owner even tried to stay late to help me but his employees were visibly upset that he was helping me, making comments about how they were closed and I knew Jeff had plans for the evening. I, being understanding, said it could get done a different day because they all seemed to have plans. Big mistake on my end. So at this point even with the new parts, the shop couldn't complete the job the second try on Tuesday, and told me to come back on Thursday.
I took the day off on Thursday in order to get it done. when i get there I'm told by the front desk worker that's had an attitude since day 1 that they have "real" customers to take care of, as if to imply I'm not one, and the owner isn't there to help me. So I beg for a Saturday appointment, but end up having to cancel, because the roads were iced that day. I had to speak to the same bad attitude employee when cancelling who then began giving me a hard time because I'm cancelling, refuses to help me schedule 2 weeks out, and when I ask him whats his issues he basically tells me I'm annoying and hangs up the phone when I remind him he works in customer service
At this point I'm fed up w/ them. Ive already paid for everything, but its not working right. I let them know that I'm filing a credit dispute because they couldn't do what they were paid to do, I gave them ample time to fix the situation, and they have the nerve to be rude to me even though i keep getting screwed
A week after filing dispute, the owner called my phone from his personal phone to yell at me for doing so. Saying that im efffing with his money. Over $211. After I hung up on him he text me saying that he recorded our "conversation" even though it was him yelling at me the whole time. He then proceeded to argue with me over text. He ended up challenging the dispute and lying to the bank. He said that it was the aftermarket actuators that were the issue even though the night I cut him some slack he admitted that the make of my car can be tricky sometimes and that he needed more time! So I had to pay another shop to fix their mistake, which the new shop described as a mistake someone very new would make, and pay even more money.
I found out later from reading the manual that this security system is obsolete, and the owner made it seem like features that came with this system was something he was hooking up for free (the killswitch). it was packaged in 2013 which means it was manufactured that year or earlier. at the bottom left of the front page of the manual you can see the copyright year which was the year this junky alarm was packaged and shipped to retailers All this headache for a outdated alarm system that was made AT LEAST...

I mean if you want to get nickeled and dimed, with this new BS “Shop Fee” what the heck is that for almost 22 bucks after I just spent $500 on a light kit for my car. Make sure to bring cash cause if you want to use your bank atm card to pay. You will also be charged 3 percent fee. In the past I have had multiple cars done here. But after the last time where he charged me full price for some head unit that clearly had been taking out of another job. Totally scratched up and the keys were worn out! Why would you think that this would be okay?? I paid for a new head unit for my Porsche, not some janky used one. Well after that I complained cause it was obvious and then they replaced it with another one that didnt work well at all. I guess I’m the only one that has had factory issues with it. So had to come back another time to get that replaced all the while I have to leave it with them and take off of work to do so. Then the one I currently have the 3rd unit still doesn’t work well at all with the Bluetooth speaker. But I just gave up with them! Been going to another local shop called “Bonnie and Clyde’s” and wow the work quality and pricing is way better!!! But one of my front lights went out and I made the mistake and went back to AudioZone in Irving to see if it was under warranty and then it was not. So I had the pleasure of getting ripped off again for another time. You would think you would take care of your clients better than this especially after messing up so many times before… Owner Cruz said in writing that they would do this one labor Job on the house. Which the last time they did my lights they messed them up by not aligning them correctly so my front passenger headlight is facing the ground and not balanced properly. That was over 2 years ago and still messed up. When I had asked them this to fix it properly. I never got a text or call back to say that they would?… So now the owner has said he won’t honor his labor to fix it this time when a part comes in to be put on so it actually turns on and works… This I have in writing from him… I would rather never go here or speak to them and file a lawsuit and see how well it works out for them… Point of this review is that nothing I said or have done is dishonest in any way. Read morePlease read !!! Had the worst experience with this business ! If you care about your vehicle , look for a better shop. These guys prioritize the bigger name guys with big amounts of followers . I took it to them for a longtube header job , they didn’t even install the correct screws which made them loose . And when I went home my car was smoking the whole way , at first I thought it was the new header coating . But NOPE , these guys forgot to put my oil dipstick tube back in (because it had to be moved for the header job) and all my oil spilled in my engine bay and burning against my exhaust which made so much smoke . My car was lowered and they broke my splitter 2-3 times parking it up front , was a big headache coming back for splitter installs and then the guys breaking it again and again moving my car upfront . I did a headlight installation with these guys for lighting trendz , and they could not get it right , on my 3rd headlight set . And every time it was not sealed correctly allowing water to come through and haze the headlight , color shortages and bad handling , these guys would break the lens time after time . Told me they would order some OEM headlights and got me refurbished headlights from vicrez , Such a bad experience I never went back . The amount of drop offs and how many trips I took to that shop was miserable and exhausting. I ended up staying stock on my headlights to just not even return . I agree with another review on this shop , after a little they begin to decline your calls , fail to follow up and avoid you to not fix their mistakes .
