I am full of regrest and a washer and dryer that does not work properly and has not done so since I purchased them on 1/17/25
At this moment I regret the purchase. I am only writing this review because I do not want others to end up like me. My washer and dry HAS NOT worked properly since it was delivered. I have made many, many calls to Omar along with messages. Last week, he told me he would replace them. Well, here I am, 4 days away from the 30 day warranty. He did state, and sent me a mssg stating, "with a review we extend the warranty to 90 days. (See bottom right corner of attached picture)
At no time did it say it had to be a favorable rewiew, just said a review. So this is my review! No, according to Five Brothers Appliance and Omar, my warranty should be extending to 90 days.
I am at this juncture. Need my funds back. Need a repair person! Or need units that work.
Washer trips breaker and we had a dedicated braker now for the washer. I can't do a load of laundry. The washer kicks the GFI the moment I resent it and turn the washer on.
DRYER: I will only operate, sometimes, on the timed cycle. When it does work it makes a horriable noise.
OMAR HAS BEEN MADE AWARE OF ALL OF THE ISSUES.
I am a senior and I do not need this. I had to wring a load of washing out by hand this morning and that was no fun. Oh yes, now the washer is leaking water!
Right now I am waiting on a "promise" to correct all of this. His reasoning as to why he has not replaced units as promised is that his box truck has broken down. I don't mean to be mean, but this is something he needs to deal with. My laundry is pilling up and it cost approx $ 10. a load to go to the laundry mat.
I am not unreasonable. I only want units that function ad...
Read moreThis is an updated review. 3 1/2 months ago I spent 600.00 on a washer and dryer. The purchase comes with a one month warranty, but for the price of a positive Google review they will extend it to 3 months. At 3 months and 15 days the washer quit working. The agitator would not move and it was making a grinding sound. I reached out and have plenty of screenshots of all of the conversations. That is up until the last one when Omar said he would call me. He told me that it was unfortunate but there was nothing they could do. He said it’s 20 days since you’re warranty expired. It was 20 days because I had been trying to get in touch with him for a full five days. He said it’s not like we do something to make it break down after three months. We hope when we sell it to you that it will last years but it’s used and we can’t promise that. He gave me the number of a repair guy who does their work, and told me to give him a call. Omar had asked me to run the machine again, which I did with the same result. When it started grinding, I pressed the pause button. Shortly, after hanging up the phone from him, the machine turned itself back on and started making a terrible noise. Every button we pressed would not turn it off or pause the cycle. We had to unplug it from the wall. I contacted the repair person that he had recommended who said it sounded like the control board or the electronic board or something was completely fried and that it would be 350 something dollars to fix. Obviously I didn’t take him up on that because I’m not gonna pay $650 for a washing machine that I can’t count on. What I basically got from five brothers was a three month rental at $100 a month and nothing left to show for it. Turn up your volume to hear...
Read moreAfter delivery the delivery guy demanded $40 extra for the install being upstairs. Understandable in general but is something that needs to be communicated before hand. They sent one guy to deliver a washing machine which lead to a hole being put in the wall when taking it upstairs. The delivery man also completely demolished the washing machine tray, which makes the tray effectively useless. The man also wasn't able to effectively communicate in English and relied on Google translate gibberish to try and speak with me. So beyond demanding an additional $40 to be paid on the spot, we weren't able to speak much.
I even offered to pay it through the same way I paid before, but he was insistent I pay it right now on the spot. Which made me feel like he was just trying to scam us.
The machines seem to be in good working order which is the only positive. I'd suggest just buy from elsewhere with better and more...
