I’m going to start this whole review off by saying that I absolutely LOVE circuses!!! The atmosphere, the popcorn, the constant side entertainment…everything a circus is. This one caught my attention fast when it said “paranormal” circus and no one under 13 YEARS OLD will be admitted. So I’m thinking, hell yeah! Looked at some pictures of their performances online and was sold! (Greeley 10/18) When we arrived, parking was fantastic, the tent looked incredible from the outside! We got inside and saw all these masks on display, giving off haunted house vibes wherever you looked. Walking into the main tent was awesome, our seats were right next to the entrance at the end cap so we’re making our way there. Out of nowhere we got this bright ass flashlight shining in our faces by some short rude Hispanic girl, probably no more than 18 years old, when we told her we already found out seats she got snide with us and proceeded to walk us there getting mad when we didn’t walk fast enough. Honestly, thought maybe it was part of the act until we heard her venting to another worker. Might I add real quick that everything was not only pricier than some circuses I’ve been to but also CASH ONLY! They tried to talk me into using their “cash booth” where I was simply told “give us your card and we will give you cash”. 🤨 There was raw talent right away with these three guys doing gymnastics tricks off of a square bar right in front of us! Their timing was impeccable and they were amazing!! The only female talent they had was the unicycle girl and the girl who does handstands on pegs. I think the other girls are picked from strip clubs just to occupy stage time. The dances they did were absolutely cringe, inappropriate to say the least, i mean I was embarrassed for them! Also, I am appalled that they even allowed children between the ages of 13 and 18 into this place. There was a guy with a fake chainsaw walking around with a couple from the audience, he made them sit on stage and served the guy a giant dildo in a dog bowl. Stripper acts, nothing but parlor tricks we have all seen millions of times, the clowns were even dressed in bra and panties with a flannel shirt and a mask. But absolutely nothing was paranormal about the circus. I was completely and utterly disappointed and let down. There was no magic acts, there was no holograms of ghosts flying around, NOTHING indicating paranormal whatsoever. As a matter of fact, the only time any of us were scared was when the guy almost fell off the tight rope.🤷♀️ There were people around us that were apologizing to their family members for having brought them people that were getting up and leaving during the break and during other performances. My coworker was there and even texted me “how boring is this?” We left after they brought out this giant hamster wheel looking thing! I’m gonna be honest, and I hope the people who own the circus are reading this, but if people wanted to pay $50 to see mid at best strippers on stage, they would go to the club down the street! I low key want my money back but I know that’s not going to happen! I just know I may never...
Read moreI went to the show in Memphis tonight and it was just awful.
Who has a show in the middle of August in a tent on pavement in the south with nothing more than industrial fans in each entrance. It was so hot that it was one of the main reasons we left. I thought I was going to blow chunks on the gentlemen sitting in front of us. They actually closed the entrances off once the show started and the fans couldn’t do much to help at that point. (Lack of oxygen)
Which brings me to me next point. The seating was AWFUL. Think those old small and generally uncomfortable chairs you’d sit on in elementary school. Except trying to crowd 200 grown adults into them. Talk about sardines. They weren’t staggered so you couldn’t see around the peoples heads in front of you. And there wasn’t any room to shimmy out the aisles. Think if you’re at the movies, but the rows are so cramped you can’t so much as get up to go to the bathroom without every one else having to get up and move out of the row.
I saw another review talking about “don’t bring your girlfriend here if she’s insecure there’s a lot of hot women” and true. There are lot of hot women. But most certainly don’t bring anyone under the age of 18. And it should probably be 21+ because this was more strip club with a side of horror than a paranormal circus. I thought it was going to be HORROR maybe scary. Not a dance show with a dozen and a half women in lingerie.
That being said I can’t say much on the circus acts themselves. The acrobatic guys at the beginning were pretty cool and there was a funny bit with some crowd participation. But beyond that…. We were actually watching the show for all of 30 minutes before we left. Biggest waste of money I’ve spent in a long time. Just go to Dave and buster or main event and spend the same amount of money there. At least they have decent seating and you’ll have a...
Read moreThe Paranormal Critique was nothing short of spectacular. The horror villain theme was brilliantly conceived, weaving together an atmosphere of spine-tingling suspense and imaginative storytelling. Each character was well-crafted, embodying their roles with a striking authenticity in their makeup, behavior, and visual presentation. The performers exhibited exceptional talent, delivering a captivating performance that held the audience in rapt attention.
Particularly unforgettable was the opening gymnastic act, which was breathtakingly fluid and daring, showcasing a level of skill that left the crowd in awe. The inclusion of an audience member in one of the acts added a delightful surprise, making the interaction feel genuine and engaging, which was a highlight of the experience.
However, a notable downside was the lack of acceptance for credit and debit cards, which was somewhat inconvenient. I’m unsure if this information was explicitly provided during the ticket purchase process, but it would certainly be beneficial for future attendees to be informed in advance. Despite this minor setback, I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to witness this incredible show...
