La Paletera — Restaurant in Irving

I recently visited this location and spent around $20-$30 on various items. The person who assisted me, Sonia, was not very friendly. I asked for just a little extra Valentina hot sauce, and she told me it would be an extra charge of 99 cents for a small container. I was willing to pay, as I understand that everything has a cost—especially with today’s economy—but 99 cents seemed excessive for such a small amount.

More concerning, though, was Sonia’s attitude. She was very rude and responded poorly to my requests. I have been coming to this store for years, and I’ve never experienced service like this. I believe she may be new to the team.

As someone who works with customers myself, I know the importance of treating clients well and greeting them with a smile, regardless of personal issues. I think it’s essential for anyone representing a business to have this approach, and I hope this feedback is helpful in maintaining the high standards I’ve always appreciated from this location.

Recientemente visité esta paletería y gasté alrededor de $20 a $30 en varios productos. La persona que me atendió, Sonia, no fue muy amable. Le pedí un poquito extra de salsa Valentina y me dijo que eso tendría un costo adicional de 99 centavos por un vasito pequeño. Yo también trabajo con clientes y sé lo importante que es atenderlos bien y recibirlos con una sonrisa, sin importar los problemas personales. Creo que es esencial que quien representa a un negocio tenga esta actitud, y espero que esta retroalimentación sea útil para mantener los altos estándares que siempre he apreciado en...

Antes me gustaba ir aqui hace un ano pero ya hacen las cosas bien diferentes el elote ya estan usando queso de Mozzarella y la agua de piña no es natural es como kool aid. Ya no regresaré

I use to be a regular here about a year ago and recently went again I purchased the same as usual a corn in a cup the which was very different than before the cheese was mozzarella and seemed to be old. The pineapple water also tastes very different it use to be made natural but now it’s a kool aid drink and also tasted like soap couldn’t drink it. Very disappointed will not...

Let me start off by saying that I work next to this place and I have given them so many chances to prove themselves. They have the WORST customer service EVER! Their corn in a cup is nasty, the chili cheese nachos is basically just nachos, I have bought a can coke like 4 different time and each time the price goes up, and don't even ask her to change your order bc she will be more rude then at first. Today was the last time I visit this place. I'm done... I'm guessing the pics online are from they first opened bc I'm pretty sure they don't get that much...
