Eastside Bavarian — Local services in Issaquah

6/2025 Update: after years of stellar service, it’s just expected that everything will be right when I take my car in to them. In the last few months, I have been chasing a crazy brake squealing noise. The reason for the update is the way the team here dealt with it.

I know how this group deals with the day in and day out stuff (professionally and exceptionally), but it’s how they deal with things when it doesn’t go right that makes all the difference to me.

EB, once again, showed their true colors. Just after a brake replacement is when the noise started showing up. A couple of visits and some tweaks later, it was still persistent. Ken, Ryan, Chris and Mark (co-owner) all took personal ownership of figuring out the issue and making it right.

If you aren’t aware, the owners of this shop are working owners. That is, they are in the bays working on the cars making sure everything is done correctly. I’m sure there must be other shops like this, but as far as I am aware, this is the only like it on the Eastside. I have talked with a few of their techs and all of them say it’s the dream scenario. Having an owner in the trenches with you makes all the difference. I have always felt like they had the best techs before I learned about this detail, but now I know why.

All in all - they did what they could before going all out and pulling everything apart. I left my car with them for a week and when I got it back, they had made it right. I know they sacrificed lots of time and materials on this for me. I never once was made to feel guilty or picky about this issue and they were clearly committed to making it right.

I couldn’t be happier about the outcome or my decision to make this the only shop my car goes to. They have only further solidified their position with me and my desire to promote them.

TL:DR - If you live within 30 miles and you have a BMW, Audi or Mini - you’d be silly not to come here for your services. Seriously.

Ken is fantastic to work with. Very straightforward and clear in his approach. It feels as close to having a friend that works on your car as possible. Everyone I have dealt with on the phone and in person at Eastside Bavarian is excellent. I happily entrust my vehicle and would highly recommend to anyone that they bring their car here.

P.S. - if they can’t help you for ANY reason (tinting, sound systems, tires, detailing, etc.), they also have a deep bench of other professionals to point you to. I have asked for many and each time I mention EB, they all know that Ken sent me.

Been driving BMWs for 25+ years and hesitant to purchase any other make after finding a local shop that we trust to service our auto needs. We have experienced everything from oil changes to major repairs (we own 3), which we have experienced a range at Eastside Bavarian (EB). Post manufacturer's warranty and dealership service, all of our cars move to EB for the duration. The owner, service advisors and staff are knowledgeable, honest, go above and beyond and truly care about getting the most use of your vehicle while believing in their lifetime performance. German/luxury cars in general are not cheap to maintain/fix but as an owner you know that going in. But, EB offers competitive pricing and always lower than dealership costs, while still providing the same, excellent and many times, better service. We appreciate that they advise issues that the customer can decide whether to fix now to avoid more costly repairs in the future, but yet respects the customer's choice to postpone action without pressure. We have referred many satisfied friends and family who come from near and far. We will continue to purchase BMWs as long as Eastside Bavarian is around to keep...

I never take the time to write reviews and I was never asked to write this review. I am taking the time to write this because the people at Eastside Bavarian couldn’t have been more kind, professional and honest. I was recommended by a friend and then read reviews before bringing my car here. I had two previous experiences with a mobile mechanic and then BMW Northwest and was left wondering what the real issue was with my car. The moment that I brought my car into Eastside Bavarian, I knew that I was in the right place. I felt that they were honest and that is extremely hard to find when it comes to mechanics. I will never take my car anywhere else. After being so overwhelmed and upset with my two prior experiences elsewhere, I had lost hope in ever finding anyone who could help me and not put me through the ringer replacing things that weren’t actually the problem when it came to the check engine light.
