My dad wanted to come here for dinner to celebrate his birthday (which is the fourth of July). We arrived at around 8 and despite not having a reservation, we were seated almost immediately, though the manager made it seem like we were a big inconvenience for not having a reservation despite the restaurant being mostly empty. That already rubbed us the wrong way, but my dad really wanted to try this place so we stuck it out. Our server was about to take our order ten minutes after we arrived, but then got distracted helping a different server with another party and didn’t return for at least another fifteen minutes. At one point we honestly thought she forgot about us and were contemplating leaving, but we were intrigued by some of the menu items and decided to stick it out. My parents ordered a scratch margarita to share and were very disappointed in the flavour profile. My mom felt it tasted more like a tequila sunrise than a margarita and claimed the drinks we make at home are better. My little sister ordered a virgin raspberry cocktail and she enjoyed it. As a Nando’s lover the Peri Peri Tandoori Shrimp on the menu caught my eye and I was obsessed with it from the first bite. The shrimp was cooked to the perfect texture and I adored the flavourful tomato-based sauce. The Malai Chicken Makhmali was deliciously creamy and I loved the bite sized flavourful pieces. The only issue is the portions for all the dishes are abysmal and definitely not worth the price tag. Compared to other Indian restaurants in the area (that are already ridiculously overpriced, let’s be real) this restaurant is highway robbery. When the Dum Biryani came to our table, it had bones it. We had confirmed with our server before ordering that it was boneless so we asked a different server to bring her over. The manager Debo came over instead and when I explained the problem he patronisingly offered me a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It turned out the server was new and the biryani is always bone-in, but there are so many more respectful ways thus interaction could have been handled. I personally was very offended to be treated like a child and offered ice cream when I articulated a valid complaint. We ended up only leaving the restaurant just before 9:45pm and ended up having to rush to the rest of our plans. Would definitely not recommend this restaurant for a speedy dining experience. Or at all to be quite honest. There are many far better Indian restaurants in this area, I’d recommend driving five minutes away to Masthi for an all around better experience in every way. Thank you to Disha our server for her patience and kindness! Good luck on your new job, though tbh wish you were more supported by the management in your learning experience.

A Disappointing Father's Day Dining Experience

Our recent Father's Day reservation for eight was unfortunately met with a series of significant service and operational shortcomings, leading to a thoroughly unpleasant dining experience. Uncomfortable Seating and Poor Start Upon arrival, despite reserving a table for eight, we were uncomfortably squeezed into a space that required us to sit excessively close together. This cramped seating arrangement made for a very unpleasant start to our meal.

Missed Promises and Delayed Service We were informed that special Father's Day drinks would be provided; however, these arrived an hour late. While complimentary, the significant delay and apparent oversight added to the sense of disorganization. The core issues, however, revolved around the food and overall service.

Inadequate Portions and Excessive Delays The portions were unbelievably small, especially considering the prices. This significant disparity between cost and quantity was a major point of dissatisfaction. Furthermore, the service was exceptionally slow. Our 12:30 PM reservation resulted in us not leaving the restaurant until 3:00 PM. This extended duration was not due to an enjoyable leisurely meal, but rather protracted waits for every step of the dining process: Delays in taking our order. Significant waits for the food to be brought to the table. Our ordered dessert never arrived, and we received no explanation.

Adding to the frustration, a waiter prematurely removed containers that still had food in them, assuming we were finished. This oversight further compounded the feeling of being rushed and disregarded despite the overall slow pace.

Overall, this was a profoundly disappointing experience, unlike any we've encountered before. The combination of cramped seating, delayed promises, meager portions, and exceptionally poor service made for a memorable Father's Day for all the...

We had the worst dining experience here compared to any restaurant we've ever visited. While the ambiance was nice—colorful, vibrant, and inviting—that was sadly the only positive aspect of our visit.

The service was deeply lacking. Our waitress seemed to have no knowledge about the menu. I asked two very basic questions: whether the entree came with boneless or bone-in chicken, and whether it included a side. She couldn’t answer either without asking around, and even then, gave us incorrect information. Based on her response, we ordered an extra item, which we later realized was unnecessary. More concerningly, when we inquired about nut content in one of the dishes due to a family allergy, she confidently assured us there were none. Thankfully, we double-checked with another server who confirmed the dish did contain nuts. This could have resulted in a serious medical issue.

The food itself was just as disappointing. It was under-seasoned, lacked any real flavor, and was poorly prepared. Several pieces of chicken were cold on the inside, and most of the meat was undercooked—which is completely unacceptable. We didn’t feel safe eating it and ended up wasting most of the meal.

To make matters worse, the floor near the restrooms had water all over it, making it dangerously slippery—especially for families with young children.

Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food is subpar, the service is uninformed, and the safety and hygiene standards are questionable. Despite the high ratings that lured us in, our experience was nothing short of a trap. Definitely a never...
