Wretched. Every. Single. Time. The staff are incompetent, inattentive, rude, lazy, and frankly, I wouldn't hire any of them to mop a floor, let alone handle food. I place my order with the usual "No, I want rice IN the burrito, not a side, no, no, put the RICE IN, not a side of rice, not a side, that's right, add it to the rest of the burrito ingredients, and light sauce, no, no, there is no special "light sauce", it means less than the the usual gallon, yes, a smaller amount of it, no, no, there isn't a different kind, just don't put too much....oh, for Christ's sake, forget it." I go to pour my drink, and they finally cleaned the machine enough that the ice works, but oh yeah, the drinks don't actually, you know, POUR. "The soda machine is not working. Yes, I know how to operate it, yes, I..." well sure, just walk into the back. Talk to the other employee, don't give me any info, just, yeah, ignore me. HOKAY, enough of this nonsense "Why isn' the machine working?" "It's broken." Well, swell. "Any chance you could let people know this?" "It broke earlier today." "So, it's been broken, but letting people know is a problem, exactly why?" "Forget it, gimme my money back." "You want me to put a sign on it?" "Might have been helpful when I walked in, too late now...." Dimbulb runs through every order in the system, cannot find mine, despite having the receipt in HER HAND. "Screw it, keep the seven bucks, I don't need the high blood pressure and stress, just....keep it, you idiots. I'll never, ever, come back as...
Read moreI'm a construction worker who travels in a 50 mile radius for work. Taco time is always my choice restaurant. I've been working in Sammamish for a a week and a half now. I've come here about 5 times and every time it has been an absolute hassle to get a large water. Instead I have to ask for 2 or 3 medium waters. This is the only taco time that ever gives me any grief over the only cold water supply that I get throughout the day.
I asked at the window "do you guys do large waters?" The person taking my order said yes with no hesitation. Upon arriving to the window I was handed a medium. I asked if I could have a large instead and Sissy the lady who handed me the water turns to her manager and asks to give this "special treatment" the Manager (name starts with ME, her name tag was upside down and partially covered so I could catch it all) said "No. If they want a large they have to pay for it."
So my question is, if taco time is corporate then why does this taco time feel the need to save the world one large water at a time?
Edit: the manager was not very respectful and seemed blatantly rude to her coworkers. Missy tried being accommodating, and genuinely apologized when she handed me the second medium water.
With all of that being said 0/5 for the manager on June 22nd at 1230, and...
Read moreI used to frequent this Taco Time at least once a week however the service has been very slow. There was an instance during the summer.I had come in at 7:30pm to take an order to go. I was still waiting 45 minutes and ended up asking for a refund. The line in the drive through was horrendous. People inside the restaurant were angry at having to wait. The only explanation offered was short staffing. This I believe is an ongoing issue as this has not subsided. I can only imagine the management must be terrible. Employee morale seems really low. It's not their fault. It falls squarely on the shoulders of whom ever the shift manager is at the time. I also came as the store was being unlocked. Instead of holding the door open the short little Hispanic lady let the door fall close in front of us and walked off without saying a word. She also barely recognized the employee up front who was asking her questions. I understand fast food is not a glamorous job, but at least take some pride and provide superb service to those of us who are keeping you employed. They were also not prepared for the day. There was still food prep going on. The only reason for the two stars is the food is good and I feel for the front...
