Location: It is in the plaza across from the gas station in the same vicinity as Taco Time.

Ambiance/ View: It is a nice place with not much of a view of anything but the other people inside. It is semi-cozy with comfortable chairs and the smell of great food in the air. It can get a little cold due to the line of people going out the door and propping it open. But the staff make sure people come in and keep it shut. It's a little tight seeing the seats are all in one big row next to each other at the main seating. But still is nice enough to enjoy.

Cleanliness: Bathroom was very clean as were the counters, floor and kitchen. I saw one of the cooks spill something and without even thinking cleaned it super quick and made sure it was safe and sanitized. From the times I have gone; it is a very clean restaurant.

Customer Service: Even when busy they tend to make sure that you know they will be helped promptly and efficiently. Always asking with a smile and warm clear voice. They are quick to bring the food out and make sure that it is good and hot. Always making sure that you have a drink and food if you want more.

Taste: Takoyaki: The Takoyaki was light to the touch and taste, yet, it literally exploded with flavor when you bit into it. This little Octopus Dumpling was packed with delicious juicy flavor that combine with the fried dough makes for a good appetizer that will keep you coming back for more.

5 Alarms (Tantanmen) Ramen: has peanuts; Their signature chicken and pork broth cooked with 5 different levels of spice! ( I recommend trying up to level 3 for those who aren't used to very spicy. 4 and 5 are for those well versed in spice.) This dish has thick noodles that are topped with deliciously tender pork chashu, bamboo shoots, kikurage mushroom, scallions, naruto (fish cake), crispy garlic, jalapeno pepper and sesame seeds. You can pay extra for a soft boiled egg which I recommend so you can offset the spice a little bit with the creaminess of the egg yolk. I love noodles so I always get extra because there is always so much broth (which is good haha). If you want a fresh hot bowl of delicious ramen with the perfect amount of heat and meat that will satisfy your craving for noodles; then go over to Orenji Sushi & Noodles. You wont be dissapointed!

Overall: Although it is a little tight on the seating and can sometimes get a little cold if there is a big line out the door. It is a very comfortable place to enjoy an amazing bowl of fresh hot and spicy ramen. Whether it be a cold day or a nice summers day. The quick service and the good food along with the company you bring, make it a good spot for friends and or a date. If you haven't eaten here yet. what are you waiting...

I made a reservation for 6pm on Friday as I read in previous reviews that it can get pretty difficult to find a spot here in the evenings on a weekend. However, we ended up coming in at 5:05pm as our schedule changed and we saw that only three tables were occupied. We told the hostess that we had a reservation and if it was okay to just dine in now and he politely informed us that he could do that for us. He got two menus and a drink menu before leading us to a booth in the far left corner near the bar area. It did take several minutes for us to get someone to bring us water and take our order but it was fine as we weren't in a rush. We ordered takoyaki, Front Street Roll, 5 alarms (level 5 spicy) and Katsu Chicken Rice.

The vibe here is very modern with orange being a central part of the theme probably due to the name of the restaurant. It is well lit and provides a nice atmosphere of being intimate and cozy for any occasion. I saw that they have a birthday platter on the menu which is cute and I am curious to know what that all entails. At the bar, there was a large screen playing Chopped which was neat as I am a personal fan of the show. There are several tables with chairs, booths, and bar seating. They also have another section of the restaurant we didn't get to see so they are able to handle all sizes of parties.

Service here was very friendly and professional from the hostess, waitresses, and employees who delivered our food. They offer a huge carafe of water to do refills ourselves. We got a water refill as soon as they saw we were out of water. I just wished they put in the fridge or had it colder. The restaurant was starting to get packed around 6pm but all the employees were doing their best to provide efficient and professional service.

The food here was impressive! We really enjoyed everything! The takoyaki was the perfect size, taste and texture! The Front Street roll was refreshing but the taste of the kani mixture was a bit off to me though. It had the same texture as canned tuna so I wasn't a huge fan and let my boyfriend take more of the pieces. He enjoyed his chicken katsu but he say that the chicken tasted flavorless and that the sauce really carried all the flavors. I was very happy with my 5 alarm ramen as they did deliver on the spices and I did ask for chili oil (which they make in house) just in case but it was spicy enough on it's own. They gave lots of different vegetables and the chashu was fantastic. Definitely would love to come back to try out of some their other offerings and drinks but we were very happy...

A Tasty Fusion of Sushi and Noodles. it offers a delightful blend of Japanese cuisine with a focus on fresh sushi and flavorful noodle dishes. Food Quality and Variety: The restaurant excels in both sushi and noodle offerings. The sushi is fresh and expertly prepared, with a variety of traditional rolls and creative specialties that cater to different tastes. The noodle dishes, whether ramen, udon, or soba, are comforting and full of robust flavors, showcasing the kitchen's skill in Japanese culinary techniques.

Ambiance and Atmosphere: The ambiance is inviting and relaxed, making it suitable for casual dining or special occasions. The décor is minimalist yet tasteful, creating a pleasant dining environment that complements the dining experience.

Service and Hospitality: The service is attentive and friendly, with staff members knowledgeable about the menu and eager to assist with recommendations. They ensure a smooth dining experience from start to finish, accommodating special requests and providing prompt service.

Value for Money: The pricing offers good value for the quality of food and service provided. While it's not the cheapest option, the portions are generous, and the freshness of ingredients justifies the cost, making it a worthwhile dining choice in Sammamish.

Location and Accessibility: Located conveniently in issaquah, the restaurant is easily accessible for locals and visitors alike. Its central location makes it a convenient spot for lunch or dinner, whether dining in or ordering takeout.

Overall Experience: My experience at orenji was enjoyable. The combination of delicious sushi and satisfying noodle dishes, coupled with attentive service and a pleasant atmosphere, made it a four-star dining experience. I would recommend it to anyone craving quality Japanese cuisine...

Great service, delicious food. Chicken Karaage: Came out fairly quick, lots of small pieces. The spicy mayo is definitely on the spicy side. I liked the quality and the quantity Tuna Maki: This is how a Tuna Maki should be 😋 big piece of tuna, and wrapped well. Simple, but great Orenji Dragon Roll: Loved it. I asked for no cucumber and it was perfect. Chirashi Bowl: Lots of big pieces, the rice was seasoned well. There was one piece of fish we didn't like, if we order it again I'd ask them to substitute it. Not sure what the fish was but it was a bit too soft/mushy. Could also use seaweed. Side of salad with the Chirashi bowl: We really liked the dressing they used And they gave a complimentary strawberry mochi ice cream after we paid 🥹 It was really yummy and that was so sweet of them Overall, enjoyed our meal. Not gonna take a star off for the price, but you're definitely paying a premium to have a nice sushi meal in Issaquah. If you have the time and want to save a bit of money, get a Chirashi Bowl from Musashis or sushi from FOB Sushi Bar. I wouldn't say the Chirashi bowl here is worth almost 2x the price compared to Musashi's, but it's still excellent! Although neither of those places have quite the expansive menu as Orenji.
