When I arrived at this Issaquah Home Depot it was sunny, by the time I got to the opposite side of the store, it was pouring down rain. Unfortunately, I came for pavers and sand, which are found where there's no roof. No worries. Born and raised in WA, I'm not afraid of getting wet. We're wet 90% of the year. As for an umbrella, no point, I was in shorts, t-shirt and flip-flops and there was already a small lake gathering from the downpour. I was getting soaked whether I owned an umbrella or not. No worries. I head into the downpour not knowing which paver is going to suite my fancy. I start down the 1st aisle, nothing. I head undercover for a quick break to throw my hair into a pony tail, which is now completely soaking wet. No worries. I head into the next aisle, rain pouring from the sky like a 5 star shower head sold on aisle 8, Jackpot, I spot the perfect pavers for the project I had started at home! I head undercover to grab my cart, when an employee walks up to me, "Sorry I made it rain again." He chuckles and explains, "Every time the sun comes out and I finally think it's not going to rain again, I take off my jacket and sure enough within 10 mins, it starts raining again. It's now a joke that every time I take my jacket off my co-workers know it's going to rain." Now noticing that he's not wearing a jacket I too chuckle and ask him to please put his jacket back on because I prefer the sun. Having lightened my spirits, he then asks if I would like help with anything. I happily squeal like Alvin the chipmunk, "Yes, please and thank you!" As I'm explaining what I need another employee walks by us, stops and asks if we need additional support. Starting to feel like I just stepped inside an episode from The Twilight Zone we create a plan of action. As a team, we headed into the downpour with a cart. In record time we loaded multiple pavers, 6 bags of sand and some stones. With the cart now weighing quite a bit, Mr. NoJacket kindly takes over the job of pushing it. As we get back to dry land he asks if I need to do any more shopping. Making sure to thank them before they leave I reply, "Nope, I'm done shopping. Thank you both so much for your help today and the smile!". As I start to think I'm back to being a 1 person crew, Mr. NoJacket continues "Which side did you park on? On the other side of the store there's a covered pick up area. If you'd like to drive your car over there we can help load this for you." Well hot diggity damn! Sweet Pepperchinnis! Holy cow! "That'd be GREAT!" I exclaimed, probably sounding like Tony the Tiger. Happy that we were still a team, an AWESOME team, who just conquered a torrential downpour, I felt confidant in our ability to conquer the cash register and then the loading of the car! And as the last paver was loaded into my car, I could hear the song by Queen, We Are The Champions playing. As I drove away I thought to myself, that's right guys, we are the Champions, we are the Champions of the rain! Thank you for your help A-Team!...
Read moreThis should be zero stars If you are considering purchasing appliances from here, I suggest you don’t waste your time and run far away. You will be in for the most frustrating experience. We purchased a washer and dryer from Home Depot and I will NEVER come back here again.
Delivery was scheduled for Tuesday, January 9th. My husband rearranged his schedule to be home. We got a call the night before confirming the appointment between 8A-12P. The next morning at 10:30A we get a call that the delivery has been cancelled and rescheduled for Thursday. My husband couldn’t be home that day, so I had to stay home from work to be there for delivery. Thursday arrives, and the delivery guys show up and refuse to deliver the appliances to our home stating that they couldn’t come down the driveway. I found this to be unbelievable considering we used a giant moving truck to move into the house in August.
At this point the contracted delivery company tells me that this is now my problem and they will deliver the appliances to Home Depot and I can will call them and install them myself. I’m told to contact Home Depot for those arrangements. I call Home Depot to figure out what can be done but no ones seems to be able to answer my questions on what to do next. Between my husband and I we made six calls and each time being told the person we need to talk to is not there and they will call us back. NOT ONE person returned our calls.
Monday, January 15th we went into the store since phone calls were going nowhere. The employee in the appliance section gave us the same round about answers we’ve gotten before and said delivery could be rescheduled but there is a chance the drivers could refuse to deliver the appliance. At this point we were not going to waste another day for the same outcome. We’ve requested a refund but it could take up to 10 days because the appliances have to be sent back to Samsung.
I’m completely blown away at the incompetence and lack of customer service and will do everything in my power to never come here again.
After leaving Home Depot we went to a local appliance store to purchase the washer and dryer. We were met by a very knowledgeable person that helped make a purchase and delivery happened that day with no problems. Oh, and the best part…these appliances are a better brand, 5 year warranty included at no cost...
Read moreIn September 2021, we signed a contract with Home Depot to renovate the kitchen, which mainly includes replacement of cabinet doors, drawers, refacing cabinet, new countertop and splash back tiling. We paid in full in advance. On February 7, 2022, Home Depot entered the construction site for the first time. It was two very new contractors with very poor technology. Construction quality is also poor. What's more, the drawer and cabinet doors used by Home Depot are not solid wood when the contract is being talked about in August 2021. From February to April 2022, for up to two months, we complained to the project manager of Home Depot who was responsible for our project. The project manager's response was delayed. We called the project manager 5 times and he would not answer the call. And about the email: it takes three to five emails repeatedly to get a reply, and the project manager of Home Depot responds to one email, which takes 2 weeks or more. And half of the kitchen decoration, the quality is poor, which seriously affects our daily life. In April 2022, Home Depot's program manager admitted that sales misled us during the sale process. Agreed, reface the cabinets again, and replace the cabinet doors. He said he could come back and reinstall it the week of May 31. We waited in the half-finished kitchen until the May 31st promised by the project manager, but there was no word from Home Depot, and we kept asking. Home Depot did not send a contractor until the week of June 13. Home Depot's contractor this time peeled off the previous laminate and put on a new laminate . But this time the more serious situation is that the new sticker is torn off and the inside of the cabinet is seriously damaged. Clearly visible when the cupboard is opened (as in the photo). Home Depot's kitchen renovation is like a nightmare. Not only is the whole process difficult to communicate, but also because the rework damages the interior of the cabinets a lot, seriously hurting the value of the kitchen and the value...
