Tasty and Convenient Dining. My recent visit was a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience. This popular fast-casual chain offers a variety of delicious Chinese-American dishes that cater to diverse tastes, making it a great spot for a quick and tasty meal.
Delicious Food: The food is consistently flavorful and well-prepared. I ordered the Orange Chicken and Beijing Beef, both of which were excellent. The Orange Chicken was perfectly crispy with a tangy, sweet sauce, and the Beijing Beef had a delightful balance of savory and spicy flavors. The entrees were accompanied by fried rice and chow mein, both of which were tasty and well-cooked. The variety of options on the menu ensures that there is something for everyone, whether you prefer spicy, savory, or sweet flavors.
Fast and Friendly Service: The service at the Issaquah location was efficient and friendly. The staff were polite and quick to take and prepare my order, which is particularly appreciated during busy meal times. The line moved swiftly, and my food was ready in no time, making it an excellent choice for a quick lunch or dinner.
Clean and Well-Maintained: The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The dining area was tidy, and the tables were promptly cleared and sanitized after each customer. The food serving area was also clean and organized, which adds to the overall positive dining experience.
Generous Portions: The portion sizes are generous, providing good value for money. The combination plates offer a substantial amount of food, ensuring you leave the restaurant feeling satisfied. The ability to choose multiple entrees and sides allows for a customizable dining experience that caters to individual preferences.
Room for Improvement: While my overall experience was positive, there are a few areas where Panda Express could improve. During peak hours, the restaurant can get quite crowded, and finding a seat might be challenging. Expanding the seating area or implementing a more efficient seating arrangement could enhance the dining experience. Additionally, while the food is generally delicious, there were a couple of instances where the dishes could have been hotter, indicating they had been sitting for a while.
Convenient Location: The Issaquah location is conveniently situated with ample parking, making it easy to access. Whether you’re dining in or taking out, the convenience of the location adds to the overall appeal of the restaurant.
In summary, it offers a tasty and convenient dining option with its delicious food, friendly service, and clean environment. While there are minor areas for improvement, the overall experience is highly positive, making it a great choice for a quick and...
Read moreI wrote a 5-star review on Yelp a decade ago (2013) under a different account, but Google Reviews seems to be the new cool now. After visiting the Eastside (Issaquah/Snoqualmie-North Bend Area) 7 years after moving out, I decided to check out my go-to Panda Express from my broke college days.
The food remains fantastic, but the service at this location has declined significantly. I'm typically patient, having worked in customer service myself back in the day, and I know Panda Express for good food and inviting service. I've visited many locations across the US, Canada, the Philippines, and Japan without issue until today.
Upon entering and making eye contact with the employee and smiling, they seemed busy fulfilling an online order. No worries, I'll wait. But the problem was, that employee didn't acknowledge me. Not even saying "I'll be right with you". Their coworker seemed uninterested in helping me either. I waited 2 minutes before they noticed the growing line. When I finally ordered, I requested two plates with the same items to make it easier for them: Chow Mein, Super Greens, and Orange Chicken. That employee only prepared one order, and when I pointed this out, there was no apology or letting me know to wait—just passive-aggressiveness of glaring right back at me with a grumpy look as if I'm making them work extra.
This behavior likely stems from bad hires, poor training, or ineffective management. Even the most questionable Panda Express locations offer good service, but I never expected such poor service in Issaquah. They used to be top notch back in the day with some folks telling me stories about their day and such, now? That's gone.
Advice to management: Either retrain your staff on customer service or hire new employees who better represent Panda Express'...
Read moreWe had the worst experience ever with Panda Express.
We placed an online order at 3:24 PM 11/8/2018, it should be ready to pick up at 3:56 PM.
However, when we get to the store at 3:55 PM. The order wasn't ready... In fact, the store hasn't even started making our order.
This is at the non-busy hour at the location.
The employees informed my wife (I was in the car with our kid) that the online order receipt hasn't printed out yet, so they cannot make the order. My wife has shown them the receipt we got in the email. But they still won't make our order.
The manager came out to the counter and said the same thing to her. They cannot make the order unless the receipt was printed on their side. My wife even asked them to start making the order so if the receipt printed out later then we are good to go. But they still won't do it.
We have no idea how much longer for the receipt to print out at the store or if it ever gonna print out since it's already past 30 minutes.
We were on a very tight schedule today, and we wasted our time by driving over there and came home without the food that we ordered and paid.
This is unacceptable for any customer that paid for their food online but the store won't do anything to make it right to provide the food.
We didn't have time to stop by another place to get dinner. So we came home without dinner that we paid for and we are very disappointed and angry.
It's not the customer's problem when there is an issue with the Online/Store system.
I expect any restaurant to do better than this. Especially Panda.
Since we paid for the food we didn't get, we will end up dispute our charge on the...
