It's my first time to Krispy Kreme last Thursday and I was impressed by the services there. Krispy Kreme provided high quality donuts and great service.
Krispy Kreme provided a quiet and comfortable environment for me to enjoy my donuts. The windows were bright and clean which allow the sunlight to came in and I really liked it. It felt like standing in the golden sunlight in California. The Air Conditioner did a really good job on keeping the temperature warm. The customers there were all quietly enjoying their donuts. Overall, it's a donut shop with good environment to enjoy your donuts with your friends.
Donuts played an important role when you're reviewing a donut restaurant. Krispy Kreme provided approximately 20 different types of donuts. A practical thing to consider is to be there around 3:30 to try out "Hot Donuts". "Hot Donuts" were not commonly seen in some donuts restaurant around this area, and it's worth to try a hot donut. Besides hot donut, Krispy Kreme also provided a some commonly seen donuts, Chocolate, strawberry, traditional... According to my friends who tried these donuts with me, the taste of the donuts are really god. "Not so sweet and you will easily get addicted to it."
Krispy Kreme also provided holiday special. Recently, they are selling Christmas Specials donuts. You can have "Santa Claus" donuts, "Christmas Tree" donuts and "Snow Man" Donuts. This reminded me that donuts are not simply food, but there are also part of our culture.
At last, I wanted to shared my experience of having a chocolate donut with cream inside it. Form the outside, it looks like a Dorayaki. It's a little bit different from other donuts in terms of appearance. It's that Dorayaki looking that made me chose it. It smelled super natural. When you closed your eyes and smelled it, you can tell it's a sweet donut! When it's in your mouth, you can felt that crispy layer of chocolate together with the cream butter inside melting in your mouth. The bread were also very chewy.
At last, I wanted to say that overall it's a great experience. However, sometimes the pick up speed of donuts are a little bit slow. When you are in a hurry and there are already 2-3 people in the line, I recommend you to go to another place to get food.
Great donut...
Read moreKrispy Kreme is a great place to go if you are a fan of sweet stuff. I personally think donuts here are too sweet, but my friends think they are fine. You can see the donuts factory here, which is pretty cool. You can even smell the sweetness in the air, and this comforts me a lot. Faculties are extremely nice here, they call you by “darling” sometimes (I don’t know about you, by I appreciate that). It’s also a great place to enjoy the sunshine in a lazy afternoon, especially when you are a little bit hungry.
I like the way they fried the donuts, you can taste some cooking oil on the outside of the donuts. I really like that feeling of luxury. Also, some donuts have chocolate inside, which according to my friends, taste like heaven. They also have many kinds of donuts, it’s really hard to pick sometimes. I would suggest you try “Oreo Cookies and Kreme” or “Chocolate Iced Glazed”. In addition, Oreo Cookies and Kreme is special only for the season, so if you want to try, do it now!
If you have time, go to Krispy Kreme in the morning before you go to work. They usually make hot donuts in the morning around 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. (sometimes afternoon), and they taste way much better according to my friend. We actually called them and asked for the time, unfortunately they didn’t make any that day.
Overall, Krispy Kreme is really a great place to go with your friends; drink a cup of coffee, and enjoy a lazy afternoon. The price here is reasonable, about $1.15-3 per donut. One thing I would like to mention is that their chairs are quite small. In conclusion, you should try it out sometimes if you...
Read moreFrankie needs his mummy ;o] Ok donut dunkers.....here’s the situation I gave this 3 stars because of the customer service inside (not the drive-thru) and because they don’t allow customers to use the restroom. I hear you..you say it’s because of Covid. I totally understand. The only thing is, restrooms are an absolute human need. My mom and I went in and they didn’t greet us and they had the restroom completely blocked off. Even if they had/we had bought a Frankies mummy donut, we wouldn’t be able to use the restroom. No matter what the restroom was closed. It wasn’t out of order. Other retailers from Starbucks to Nordstrom allow you that basic human need, regardless of what you do/don’t buy. However the Krispy says ‘Nope’ no matter how many donuts you do. I feel if you open to sell, take my money you should be ready to at least provide a clean restroom to actual customers. Also, I have used the restroom there, Pre Covid and it was icky. I think they need to rethink it. I will say the drive through experience has always been a really pleasant, good service with patience because let’s face it these decisions ie: original cream/old fashioned it’s tough to decide, they are upbeat and cool. When you drive thru on a whim for a guilty pleasure...and it’s empty Downtown it’s nice to connect with a person and get a mini craving satisfied. Warning: Frankie didn’t make it all the way...
