Corkscrew — Local services in Jackson

They have a great selection and and the discounted liquor due to defective label or bottles are the plus about it. On the other hand I find it weird when you are trying to browse the selection and figure out if you want ur usual or try something new, u get approached and ask if u need help finding something and are followed. Granted asking if I need help especially if I'm looking like I don't know what I want or if I look like I'm looking for something in particular and can't find it is great. But if my reply is, "No I'm good" don't keep approaching me over and over asking me that and walking around as I do. I remember on one occasion the weird looking one asked my wife and I if we needed help I replied with no ill let you know if we need assistance (cuz I know they will b on ur heels) he looked at me with a crazy look then walked off. Me and my wife started discussing the liquors we wanted just narrowing our decision. By that time about three minutes had passed he all of the sudden walked back up in the midst of my wife asking me a question and said, "huh" as if we were talking to him and as if he never walked off. I looked at him and said, "oh she was asking me something". At first I thought he may have thought we genuinely said something to him (eventhough she was looking directly at me and he was approaching from behind her). But then when she continued her question he just stood right there literally shoulder to shoulder with her. We just walked out. Mind you I have spent plenty of money there time and time again and similar but not as extreme situations have occurred and I just look pass it. That time was just enough for me so I haven't been back since. I'm guessing that's their version of good...

I’ve been loyal to this store but I’m done with that. The ONE time I needed to call and ask a question the were super condescending with their reply. I work in customer service myself and was very happy and upbeat about my simple question. Getting a snarky reply that they would not answer my question was unnecessary. It’s fine if there are certain questions you don’t discuss on the phone but I don’t need the attitude. So I’ll be saving myself the 35 minute drive to be loyal to the small business, Costco has what we usually drink for cheaper. My phone was on speaker and my husband heard the guy as well, I asked him if he thought the guy was out of line as well.. he did. Anyhow, thankfully I’ll be saving some...

They are always helpful and willing to check warehouse stock for what they don't yet have. They always have clearance on wine and liquor. The employees are always kind and respectful. They'll walk your package liquor to your car to make sure it arrives safely. Rain or sweaty shine! I love Corkscrew for their Sake selection. Hot or cold, they have it!
