Today was my first time shopping at this dispensary. No first time deal for first time customers. I had to give my phone number and my email to shop, which is not typical unless I'm signing up for something (which I wasn't). All of the flower was reggie, machine trimmed, remediated garbage. I ended up buying some mojo chocolates and left disappointed, because all of the flower was mids at best. After shopping, I went out to my car and made some phone calls, and booked a hotel room in town. While on the phone, my fiance and I noticed the old guy security guard was standing outside, just staring at our car. Literally just standing outside the dispensary, staring at our vehicle. That really made us feel uncomfortable. But nonetheless, i told my fiance dont worry about it, and finished booking my hotel room on the phone. Before pulling out of the parking lot, my fiance said she wanted to run inside to use the restroom.. On her way out of the restroom the same 80 year old security guard who was standing outside staring at our car (when he should be inside protecting budtenders etc) stopped my fiance in a rude manner. In a condescending tone he asked her, "why have you guys been parked outside for so long?" Even went as far as asking her if, "everything was okay"... When my fiance told him we are fine and we were making some phone calls, he side eyed her and said, "mhm." In a way that made her feel like he thought we were lying or something. We literally were only parked for maybe 15 mins tops after shopping, and we were on the phone booking our hotel reservation before we hit the road. He went "mhm" in a rude manner and my fiance walked out feeling uncomfortable and weirded out. We both believe he was trying to insinuate we were smoking in our car. We have shopped at hundreds of dispensaries in Michigan, sitting in our car after shopping etc. Some dispensaries being in bad locations. Detroit, Grand Rapids, etc. We've never encountered a security guard standing outside of a dispensary staring at our car. We've never been stopped by a security guard going in to a dispensary to use the restroom etc. The security at this dispensary is rude, does not respect customers, and assumes the worst. No.. My fiance and I were not smoking in our car. We were making phone calls. And we weren't even parked long enough in our eyes to raise any type of concern or suspicion what so ever. Let alone to have security standing outside staring down our car like a hawk. Because of the reggie flower, and the weird creepy security guard, we will never be back. If you suspect somebody breaking the law, call the police. Do not harass customers and grill them with questions. Do not stand outside and stare down customer's vehicles like they are criminals. Time for the old man to retire and go home. This dispensary sucks! It's Jackson guys. Not Detroit. It's a nice quiet area and there's no need to have a security guard who acts like he's guarding a military base. Harassing customers, asking questions. It's not his place. He's out of line. If he feels there is an issue such as someone smoking cannabis in their vehicle, he needs to just call the police. Not condescendingly ask questions, or harass customers. 0/10. I wouldn't recommend this dispensary if it was the last...

Lettuce is a great dispensary.

The store is clean, the staff are friendly/knowledgeable, and price is unbeatable.

That’s the short review, but to be honest, it deserves much more.

I drive from Lansing to Jackson for the sole purpose of buying weed from Lettuce. I could go somewhere closer, but I prefer to not sacrifice quality for convenience. The staff knows the product well, which allows their recommendations to come from personal experience and not a quota like some dispensaries make their budtenders abide by. Its never fun to have a product you don’t want, pushed to you by a salesperson who doesn’t care, and just wants to make a sale. That doesn’t happen here. The budtenders at Lettuce want you to buy something you want. They don’t push bad product or recommend anything they haven’t personally tried. I appreciate this very much from a business and this place does it well.

I wouldn’t drive from Lansing if the price point wasn’t correct. $12 Eights and $21 for 3.5g of concentrate is much appreciated. Especially for the quality you get. I recommend the Tokyo Drift and Ventriloquist. They have yet to disappoint and the flavor is unmatched.

Lastly, the place is super clean. The sales floor is open and provides plenty of space for browsing while waiting (if there even is a wait). They do have a bathroom, it is very clean, I would take a dump in it if the occasion arised. Try saying that about some of the other dispensaries in the Lansing area.

Overall, I like this place. Its got a vibe/character to it that I don’t get from other stores. I love the price and the weed is special. There is rarely a wait and the drive through is super convenient. 10/10, I look forward to using the...

I'm definitely conflicted. The people here have always been amazing but I had a pretty bad experience today. Not only did I have to wait to find out why I was charged for a membership twice in one month, while I did get it fixed with no explanation, I still have to wait days for the refund and it just seems unprofessional to me. On that note, when I signed up for my membership, the gentleman who identified himself as the owner explained how they will price match, exact products and locally only but still great. However when I tried to show the manager proof that the Crude Boys caps are $2 cheaper at Jars, for the same flavors, she said that they are "trying" to figure it out but don't price match. If the policy changed, people should have been notified, especially since they take money from me every month and if it didn't, why was I unable to get it done? Regardless of the official policy, the owner told me they do. He should honor that... Seriously considering cancelling my membership simply because of the lack of professionalism and care for a loyal customer and member. Disappointed. I liked this place.
