ALDI — Local services in Jacksonville

Had a terrible shopping experience today with cashier Riley. She was incredibly rude. It was me, my husband, and our 1 year old trying to check out. The lady before us in line had trouble with her card and Riley was barking orders at her and caused the woman to almost run over my one year old with a shopping cart to “hurry up” and fix her card. So now I have to hold my daughter to keep her safe and Riley starts throwing my groceries into another cart (not even the one we had with us) WITH the other ladies stuff! So now my husband is trying to maneuver both carts, I said “I’m feeling really rushing right now” Reily says “put your card in” to me very shortly and then shouts “get that out of my way!” At my husband trying to move or containers into our new cart apparently. So then I repeat to Riley that I am displeased with her service and she rolls her eyes. So now I start to walk away (haven’t even been told my total either) and she goes “here” and shoves the receipt in my face AFTER she starts checking out the next lady. So I said “oh yeah” sarcastically and she said “it just printed” argumentatively. I continued to complain about the way she treated us and how it’s possible to be quick and still actually be good at her job. I looked for a named badge but she actively covered it with her hair. She knows she sucks at her job. Lucky for me, her name was on the receipt. Lucky for Riley I was too mad to ask for a manager. Unlucky for Riley, this review probably will reflect worse on her than a discussion with a manager. I hope I never am checked out by Riley again. Aldi has had good produce and the prices are great, however, Aldi @ 10950 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville FL cashiers are extremely rude, short (in communication), have 0 customer service, are lifeless (unaware and looking under the influence of drugs etc). I thought maybe a certain person was having a bad day, but every time I'm there, it is more of the same. The cashiers are not helpful, before you get through the payment process, they're already trying to ring up the next person. You should not be in the customer service business if you don't like helping customers. This is a bad look on the entire store. The cashiers are disgustingly and obnoxiously rude. I'm curious of how they got hired. They should not be in the front of the store with customers. I will be leaving this review on every review platform, and I will tell everyone I know and meet not to shop this locale. Shameful to say the very least. If I could give 0 stars I would. And one more thing, the cashiers are very violent with your groceries. They're all mangled once you get home to put them away. Disgraceful! ..The store should be Self-Check-Out, we don't need...

I went to Aldi's today because of the sales. Specifically on the chicken breast, skinless, boneless, So and when I got to the meat department, there wasn't any chicken breast available. They had chicken tenders but cost more. I asked about a rain check for the chicken breast sale and was told they don't do that. So I went about my shopping and when I got to the checkout there was only one open and I was the fourth person in line most of us had full carts. They open to other lanes I am happy to say, and when I got to the cashier I asked to pay my quarter forward for the Children's Foundation that was in the paper at the front of the store and the cashier knew absolutely nothing about it. I will come back because they do have good prices Save-A-Lot down the street has better prices but less items I really like the produce here and the meat is...
