Harbor Freight — Local services in Jacksonville

It’s really sad , when companies employ `some’ people and the customer is forced too have to be treated in such a disrespectful manor. I’ve been shopping here non stop since they open and several employees are GREAT! But the one working today answering the phone is rude / nasty / disrespectful. I called to ask about a product availability. I had 2 products 1 wasn’t in stock and when I attempted to ask for the 2nd one. I was told , no sir I’m too busy , I’m done talking to you , I’ve got other things to do IM DONE talking to you sir and refused to check the SKU for availability. It’s really sad a reg customer or any customer should be treated in such a manor , people shouldn’t be allowed to work customer service if they bring their attitudes to work and mistreat the customer that help them be employed so horrid ...

I love this store. I however hate that I always leave with more than I Intended on buying.

Had to down grade my review for this organization. 2 reasons. 1 I've been through 3 of the Pierce siding nailers I finally broke down and bought a Metabo from Lowe's. The other reason is I just purchased a 1400 predator generator from Harbor Freight and the thing was super quiet as advertised but couldn't even power a skill saw. After returning it they wanted a 20% restocking fee. I used the thing for 5 minutes and they charged me about $80. I'll be buying a Honda now instead of the 5000 Predator because of Harbor Freight 20% restocking fee at the Mandarin location. I also may not go in everyday now because of this absurd restocking fee. They gained $80 and lost $10,000 a year I...

No less than 3 employees asked me if they could help me find things which is a nice change from the other big box hardware stores where they actively avoid you if you look like you need help. Lol!

Clerk was a little rude. Didn't bag my items, stood there after and waited on me to bag them. I've never had that happen at another Harbor Freight. I had stitches in my mouth from a recent surgery so I didn't ask a lot of questions or say much. I just bagged my small things and took off.

I'm sure I'll be back in solely for the cheap products. We'll see if I have a similar experience when I can work my face to smile...
