Words cannot begin to express our satisfaction and appreciation with the services provided by Jennifer and The Chef’s Garden team this past June for our wedding! We truly could not have had our dream wedding reception without their help!
Neither of us had tried The Chef’s Garden cuisine prior to our wedding tasting, however, the food was incredible! Specifically, we went with a plated dinner consisting of grouper or a New York strip steal. Both dishes were treats to the palate, and presentation was superb!
In addition to food catering, we enlisted Jennifer’s assistant with floral décor as well as wedding coordination. Regarding floral décor, Jennifer took our vague idea/concept, and made arrangements that we never imagined possible. Additionally, it should be noted that we sprung the idea of floral décor on her late in our planning, but she still carried it out impeccably!
With respect to wedding coordination, although we had a good grasp on what we desired, Jennifer made sure it was completely carried out, while also remaining sensitive to our budget. She also ensured our sanity, quenched our anxiety, and allowed us to focus on each other and our families, rather than having to worry about whether or not everything would be ok at the reception.
Overall, we, as well as our families, friends, and guests can not stop raving about our wedding reception (which was about 2 months ago). We are sincerely grateful and thankful to Jennifer and the Chef’s garden staff and team. Everyone we met with was professional, receptive to feedback, and genuinely appeared excited about making our wedding a success!

We wanted to find literally all of our favorite foods in one place and we definitely found it with Chef’s Garden! Elizabeth was an absolute joy to work with. She called us at 8pm one night because we were both experiencing very hectic work schedules at the time (we didn’t ask for a late night call as we always try and respect people’s office hours) and she even emailed us the initial invoice that night! We were SHOCKED! We chose to do stations and she even combined a few of them to make it cheaper for us. We had a salad bar, prime rib and asparagus, Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes bar, and a pasta bar with chicken. I’ll be honest, we didn’t go in with crazy expectations, as normally large catering food is only generally so good but once we had our tasting, we were completely blown away. My husband normally hates broccoli but during the tasting he couldn’t put it down. The tasting was so sweet; they made us a personalized tasting menu (which we saved as a keepsake) and welcome sign. They were very detail oriented (even down to asking if we wanted to add more or less garlic to things). I’m writing this almost three weeks after my wedding and I still have guests calling me to talk about the food! Almost all of the 110 guests stopped us at the wedding to say it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! We are seriously still craving the prime rib and Mac and cheese. Read moreYou cannot go wrong with Chef’s Garden. They catered our wedding in February 2024, and we were blown away by the food and the staff. All of our guests raved about their meals. We still think about the food and wish they had a restaurant so we could visit over and over.
We primarily worked with Cassie. She was professional, was always available to answer our questions, and was flexible with any requests we had. Our wedding was inspired by the movie Fried Green Tomatoes, so we had a southern themed menu.
Everything was delicious. A couple of standout appetizers would have to be the pulled pork and deviled eggs. The pulled pork on sweet potato cakes were absolutely amazing and I'm thankful to Cassie for suggesting it. We also asked for custom deviled eggs that they had no issue accommodating and did not disappoint.
As for the dinner, we were able to have a family style setting with shrimp and grits, chicken with vegetables, mac and cheese, and collard greens. Everything was amazing. We had tried the chicken at the tasting, so I knew that was going to be delicious and was looking forward. By far the standout was the collard greens; they were the best I've ever had, and everyone was raving about them and all the food.
